Can we get an "art" forum?

Some place where people can post up their art, music, videos, funny photoshops, screenshot dumps, cosplay, etc., whether because they want the attention, business, feedback, or just plain want to express themself or spread the joy.

I know there are several screenshot threads here in General Discussion, like the "Show Your [race]" threads, character selfies, ENTM, and other miscellaneous ones that don't get as much attention.
But I feel this forum is overall more for sharing information, ideas, and chatter relating specifically to the game.

An art forum would be (in my opinion) a better place to share and discuss about derivative works of the game.
I'd love to see all of the amazing works people have done relating to the game outside of just official events.
And I'd love to see discussion and ideas on their creative processes.

This community is loaded with creative talent, and I don't see a proper subforum for it here, even they're pretty common elsewhere.

A seperated forum for fanart and fan fictions would be nice : D

I was actually quite surprised that this forum didn't have an art forum when I first visited :c
Hoping this will get added as I love seeing people's art.

I'd love an art forum, too!

I'd LOVE an excuse to write and read me some new fiction.

For Fanarts im visiting Lodestoneblogs if there are any entrys or specific fanhomepages.

There definitely should be an art forum where I can share my FFXIV fanart plus see other's work as well! :D

There's actually an earlier thread that is more larger than that which sort of became the place to post art and stuff by default. Sadly it dropped back by something like 20 pages so I had to go searching back to find it. It can be found here in any event. :)

Not a bad idea. Reddit has a lot of fanart on it, but an art forum here would be a nice way for SE to promote the game through the gifted talents of its playerbase. Some art I have seen from the community is just incredible.

Art forum would be great!

Yeah, an art/fan fiction section is like a basic need of every forum ever.

Yeah, I kept doing double-takes when I saw there was no fanworks sort of forum.
"There's no art forum? huh.... I guess there's no art forum...... Really?! .......... There really isn't one. .................. Really?!"

Regarding reddit, a lot of the stuff I share with my friends ends up coming from there. But I tend to not go there unless I suspect there's an interview translation I want to read. And last I recall, they try to filter most of the art out since it's still a forum discussing the game itself--which I agree with. If it's funny or amazing stuff, it's generally accepted anyway. But otherwise, it's encouraged to stick it into /r/FFXIVart instead so as to not clutter up discussion. It's still pretty darn cluttered though.

I suppose part of the reason there isn't one here could be that there's a tendency for people to throw in NSFW material. And then there's always debate on where's the line for NSFW, and mods get cabbages thrown at them for any inconsistencies.
But if that can be avoided, then I'd really really love to see a forum made for stuff by fans.

If I had more time in the day, I suppose I could go around through YT, reddit, tumblr, twitter, fb, pinterest, imgur, dA, and who knows wherever else. But even if I did have that kind of time, I think it's a hassle that I'd have to go everywhere-but-here to find anything of this sort.

This is an awesome idea!!

I support this idea. I know a lot of people with the desire to share their art and amateur who wishes to have a constructive critique! They really need to create a section in this forums.

I'm all for it but I don't trust SE to give it to anyone outside of the JP forums, seeing as they gave them both a Glamour Suggestion Forum and a Forum to show off their UI Layouts. :B
