lol well if we are going by "logic" Final Fantasy has a lot of ........inaccuracies.

Our-world logic and Fantasy-world logic are completely different. So the same rules would not really have to apply for this to happen.

Fat sliders will never exist, at least before butt sliders/bigger butts are brought back.

This is true! I'm not against the idea at all, just the opposite.

The only game I've seen an actual, legit fat slider for the character creator was when I tried Saint's Row, and that avatar was amazing, I just don't care for shooters. Even with the pimp cane that doubled as a shotgun.

I am not really a fat guy, but I have friends who are actually pretty enormous and fat. It is not a bad thing because i think that they are unique and different than the rest of the other people i know. Easy to tell apart from others. Not good at hiding. Like, cheese, you know. Calm down. There are tons of people who are fat due to hormonal issues or disabilities. And so what if it isn't anything to be proud of, they exist. They will always exist. And there's nothing you can do about it. No need to be "trigger" over it. Do you also get a trigger when you see people smoking? Drinking? Or other harmful normalized actions?

My friend is fat. He doesn't want to go outside always like a regular joe..He like to sit at home eating and playing video games just like you. This post is an idea to encourage people who are large to have an adventure experience outside of their body like FF14 and any other MMO. Its just a good idea. Like Taichi Panda.

Yes! They will always exist.

All jokes aside I honestly have nothing against the option of creating a fat character, like a fat slider or stuff like that, it exists in other MMOs nowadays and it allows much more diversity in terms of body shapes. Currently we can only be skinny in FFXIV, or just muscular but not really "fat". I wouldn't create a fat character myself because it's not appealing to me but I think that it would really bring diversity and I know that there is people who actually like creating fat characters (just play Blade & Soul for a bit and you'll see quite a lot of girls with really thick thighs and stuff like that, almost as often as you'll see skinny ones). I'd also like more sliders for the body overall (butt, legs, arms, waist, head size) and more range for the current sliders (breasts, muscles, tail length, and height).

Phantasy Star online and Phantasy Star Universe had fat sliders ( not sure about phantasy star online 2.) Those games werea lot more flexible when it came to putting gear onto character models though so it wasn't really a problem.

In FFXIV theres only a few models and so everyone has to share. This is why females have flat butts ( sharing with male models) and also why Max bust femroes get reductions whenever they wear bikinis ( since bikinis seem to be tailored for Elezens or Miquotes I think)

Untill they overhaul the ffxiv system and make it so that all races get unique armor models, we may not see a fat slider.

I weigh about 250 sir i aware be over weight i also aware how stupid this ideal is. encourage not play in moderation. a fat slide isn't need it encourage to play ffxiv in moderation and get exrcise and cut back on junk food

I'd love this. I like the look of a strong character who has a healthy amount of fat around their muscles.

a weild of bow and draw back on drawstring depend on the bow require muscle and strength in erozath a fat person can't not exsist as the warrior of light because the warrior of light is require to use his or her muscle to be enrage in combats. wear heavy metal armor require you to sweat. chase down an enemy require the ability run a fast possible. if a character start out overweight by lvl 60 they would rugged and fit will all that require of them to live in harsh world as erozath. sir you live in fantasy world that beyond any fantasy world we play in now.

final fantasy is fantasy game but a lot elemental of reality must drawn into create final fantasy as in any fantasy world. trust me i know. I said before fantasy and reality are linked.

I swear, I remember years ago if you got offended at something stupid you were told to just shut up and get over it. Now everyone seems to have a trigger so they can get mad and take offense. There are several games where an obese or overweight person can do amazing feats as well as stay caught up or even beat over muscled and fit guys because they are not linked to real life. That's like saying its realistic that a lalafell could defeat the enemies we do because of our size, they would just eat us instead or more so why a boss like Sephiort would willing stand there and dance with us instead of just swiping the board the moment he grows larger. Any true evil person would not hesitate to knock us off and kill us.

On to the topic at hand though, I wouldn't argue with it. I mean I would assume Roes in a way fill that more closely but as long as its not just a current race with minor alterations.

Unfortunately SE won't use resources for a race/body type that will rarely be played. That's why I commend games like GW2 who have the Charr. Which are actual cats, and they didn't slap titties on the female cat. That shows you that people will play unusual things if they are creative.

Muscle mass doesn't require being fat.

let me be honest this entire thread is a joke in sense i doubt yoshi p will have devs put any time into make a body sliders. look SWtor has it neverwinter has but when you get play you don't see many player who play character that way.

They could always make the Quen-tribe a playable race.

I think it'd actually be pretty cool if they could find a way to work this into the game. It'd add more character, and I think it'd be good for social perception.

Being "big" shouldn't be something to be ashamed of. Looking down on people for their body shape is prejudice, and -that- kind of attitude should be shameful.
The same goes for any body shape or appearance. Looking down on yourself regardless of what you're like is already tragic enough without having people saying you shouldn't be what you are. If someone else likes being chubby, then they like being chubby; if said person doesn't like associated health risks or whatever social impact their appearance makes, that's their business to address or not, if they even can. It's fine if someone says they don't find it attractive. It's not fine if someone says they shouldn't be allowed to be that way. And it's not fair to judge who they are at a glance and assume they chose to do things that you feel are undesirable.

Having more body shapes around isn't the same as promoting or endorsing them. But it does increase peoples' exposure to them, which promotes a bit more understanding and empathy.
Every so often, I'll read about how people completely change how they think about a particular demographic because they suddenly interacted with such people or played as a character from that demographic. Like one guy accidentally rolled a female character in some other online game, and he kept it because it was funny. Named it something ridiculous like HooterMcBoob. People and his own friends kept giving him catcalls or unwanted advances, and even if it was only in jest, he didn't like it. Like how plenty of women don't like it. The guy has a lot more respect for women now and sees them more properly as people he can relate to instead of just boobs.

Why is my attitude an issue for you is because i think this ideal is foolish because first off weild weapon like sword and bows require build strength a long sword weight alot when it made of solid steel as weild wearing heavy armor require one work excrise one body. am i have right to my opinion with out people get offend at it

The world is a very scary place where people have different body types. One must learn to accept them and they may learn that their assumptions about said body types aren't always true. You may also learn that not everyone in the world will live or look the way you want them to. This is a fantasy game, a 600lb guy could be as agile as a 130lb guy. Why do you care?

No ginormous isnt a mean word. My friends we are talking about making some Panda and Quinoa types. Sumo wrestlers are ginomous. The world is ginormous. I love saying ginormous not to offend just because its a nice word. I dont mean any negative misleadings. I just want there to be some Pudgygoodness and color to FF.
