Disappointed that they aren't dyeable, but that's to be expected based on the previous scion gear I suppose :(.

Hair is included. Thancred does not have his headpiece (eyepatch) from 3.0+ though.

give us an event for them like they usually do for glamour,
then if you missed it, throw it in CS a year later at least.

I agree, and ethically it would also be the only way a sub mmo should conduct its cash shop.

Does anyone have a screenshot of Thancred's outfit that's not on a potato? I wish they'd stop putting full glamour previews on lalafell, or at least give another model.

Edit: Nevermind, someone showed me there was multiple previews, my bad.

Gotta fund those other SE projects somehow. What better way to grab a little extra side cash.

my lovely kitty partner was a bit upset that there was only house items and minions as rewards for the rising event.

i mean when u think of it , how many people got a plot where they can place that garden stuff in it :P

would have been nice if we got the dresses instead as rewards :P

I bought Y'shtola's outfit and there is nothing any of you can do about it.

If there had been Iceheart hair i may have been swayed...not a fan of the hairstyles.

The hair is letting me down still :(

If it was dyeable I'd consider Thancred's outfit, but no dye, no buy.

Anyone have a picture of what the Y'stola outfit looks like on an Au Ra? The picture on the site is too small to see.

So, they are not dyable, you pay the same price for 1 item less (no gloves) and Scion's halftights are just Lady's knickers.

Makes me sick that they charge $15 for those knowing the amount of people that are going to buy them. I'd love them but I cant justify spending that much. If fact I still hate that they even did the cash shop tbh when we already pay.

I will never understand why you can't dye these cash shop sets. It's such a weird design decision that I cannot wrap my head around especially when you consider the fact that more people would buy them if you could dye them.

I don't mind the cash shop for small glamour stuff. Although I think lately SE are getting very greedy with their pricing on items, also I thought SE said that exclusive items wouldn't be in the cash shop and it would only be reskins or gear/mounts/minions etc that had already been in the game.

I'am not sure but if this was dyable, then people (who don't know it's in cash shop) would not recognize outfit from characters from story.
And if they can recognize it, they could wonder where this come from, and maybe buy it too.

It's in three pieces, four if you count the hair. You get the robe, boots and shorts (that look exactly like lady's knickers but blacker).

Maybe they could add a version we can dye that's obtainable via in-game means? That way if all you want is the outfit you can get the easy unlock right away, and those that prefer in-game rewards (rightfully so) get to do content that rewards the better version. Simple!

Agreed.

The only way to stop seeing cool stuff added to the shop is to sadly... stop requesting cool stuff like the various NPC outfits -that's a double-edged sword though, as it means they might not get added at all due to lack of requests. You can't win whatever you choose.

And then if it was ingame locked behind a grind people would still complain about it. Players who want it buy it those who not really care dont thats it. No one gets forced to buy CS items. People complaining that they cant get certain event items anymore and need to buy it ingame for alot of gil then they complain about event outfits that werent available anymore etc.Just because you pay sub doesnt mean you have the right to get everything for free what most ppl here think. Also every game is like this its just glamour its smth "nice to have" not needed. Can't people just stop playing " I buy sub I deserve to get this" card its really getting boring only complaints on the forum.

They wouldn't ever as it instantly nullifies the cash shop version and will make anyone question buying future glamour off Mogstation because "why pay money for something when a better version may be released in-game for free?"

I agree on the fact that they should not be mogstation.

Of course they wouldn't, I'm just wishfully thinking and throwing out an idea is all. They could even just upgrade the cash shop versions to be dyable for all I care, that'd be ideal but they are not going to add an in-game means nor a dyed version so it matters not what we say, right?

The price takes the hairstyle into account, as far as I know. Minfilia's outfit set and the full Lightning/Snow sets are also this price because they include a hairstyle.

Least these outfits are in parts, and not just one whole thing like Minfilia's was >>... I still really wish they'd let the Scion outfits be dyable though, I understand they're meant for cosplay purposes but some people would really like to use them as actual glamour pieces and match it with stuff better. :c

Not sure why folks are surprised to see these outfits pop up in the Mogstation. All of the original Scion outfits were Mogstation, so I'd be very surprised if the new Scion outfits were not.

Probably not, though they did add the whole Replica crafts from Coil. So if enough people asked for it to be dyeable, they might consider it down the road.

It was closing in on the Rising event and they had been in the files for a decent amount of time. They were actually there during the previous Mogstation update. I'm not really surprised, but I thought there was a slim possibility they might make them Rising rewards. Frankly with how scummy SE has been about this stuff I'm surprised they didn't put the minions up in the mogstation too.
