Cait Sith Ears... how? Is it possible? JP side? Is it out for them yet? ::confused::

So... just now I had a friend link me the "Cait Sith ears" in game, just now. He was linked them himself from someone in his linkshell, w/o even an explanation. He's not one to really keep up with this sorta thing, so he linked them to me since he knows I love all things glamours. Obviously I threw him for a loop when I had a gasped kind of speechless noise over TS just now when he showed them to me... seeing as they aren't even out or available yet (I mean Fanfest hasn't even happened yet either for it to be from there.) So.... anyone know how this is even possible? Also obligatory screenie below....

It's still on pre-order meaning you can't actually obtain one through that means yet, so not sure why you linked that. (Unless they decided to change how plushie codes work, but I don't see that since I never received an email with my code in it, and I've had it pre-ordered since it first came out to pre-order.)

I just checked french se boutique. They are already selling the dolls :)

I googled it. Some have it already, that is all. They have usually sold some (other XIV products) before it went to SE stores anyway.

but France actually IS eu... c.c,,

however, i think you can link any item when you type in the number of the item it has in the databank. but not too sure how it works xD

Yes and no. France has its own store named Square Enix Boutique (https://www.square-enix-boutique.com/) while the EU store is named Square Enix Online Store (https://store.eu.square-enix.com/eu).

I hope mine comes soon then :/ I've had mine ordered since the day it was added to the SE store....I've been debited and everything.

The French SE Store is not the same as the other EU stores. If you notice it is called SE Boutique & run by different people to the other EU based stores. They often have different sales & stuff.

Also the price is diferent se boutique stuff like this costs 10 euros more then in eu :)

This item in fr is 39,99 while eu will sell it for 29,99 - both in euros.

Yeah, they take your money and take they're sweet time delivering. I have pre-ordered a few plushes for my wife and the release date keeps getting pushed back and they already have my money. What gives?

False, the shipping alone for EU is like 30 euros, which doubles the price

Every country? I thought it was just for the small unknown countries like mine. But i can confirm that its between 20-30 the shipping from eu store.

In France, shipping for the Cait Sith plush is free, hence a real price of €39,99. I try to order the plush on the EU store to a fake address in Brussels, Belgium: the shipping cost were €20.67 with DHL (no other choice), hence a total cost of €50.66

Thanks... I've paid 24€ shipping for mine ( Germany) so around 54€...tbh i would rather pay 10€ more than 24€ shipping this is just so wrong >_< i wanted to order a carbuncle with it but this one would have been another 24€ shipping.

Agree, I caved in and bought it too. Its so cute and I like the ingame ears too, but the shipping REALLY hurts.

To be honest, I think that's the main reason most people are willing to pay so much for them. The fact you get a physical object certainly helps though. Granted, some are the opposite way, but they're quite a small group if cash shop history in any game has anything to say.

My plush arrived, it came with a nice plastic wallet thing, with instructions to ...wash? In Japanese >.< and then stuck under a secret tab is the code. I'm off to work now but yay I have my ears!

P.s He's really soft to touch.

I want the ingame item, but that Plushie is pretty ugly, in my opinion. They should just sell the ingame item at the Mog Station, for those of us that do not want the Plushie.

cost 65 euros for me, inside of europe, and I have yet to receive the thing or even a letter to pick it up, despite being debited almost 10 days ago, but it's not unlikely that it's because my country is bad at mail.

update: I asked for an update and I got the tracking number, I should have it next week :D
