Lonely Lalafell

No. It's not one of those threads.

I play on the Coeurl server and I'm lonely. There's just not many people around. It's made the game boring to me and I'm wondering if I should just end my subscription.

That would be a shame because the game is beautiful and I absolutely love my character, Kacho. But, I need people to bounce off. I need to laugh and talk and do a bit of casual roleplay. So, I'm thinking a server transfer might be in order.

What servers have an active population who aren't completely full?

The completely full ones aren't really full, just temporarily congested. It disallows new characters at times, but will always allow a character transfer.
Hyperion is one if those servers, if you'd like to come say hi!

i think you should change server , find one with more people to play on, i was contemplating this myself because i play on masamune and not many people speak english so it feels like a solo grind.

Yeah, you're better off transferring to another server.

I started in Zalera a few weeks after 2.0 launched and I saw how the population dwindled with each passing month until I eventually transferred to Gilgamesh. Granted, it was easier to make alts (to see how the server is like) in Gilgamesh since it was not as overpopulated as it is now.

People seem to be transferring into Gilgamesh or Balmung as they're the most populated servers in the Aether datacenter

I'm on Balmung and I can't find a good group of people to hang with. :( Even if I posted a PF for a social FC I most likely wouldn't get it. Makes me tired of having to look around, I just keep getting disappointed.

I transferred to Gilgamesh a couple of months back, and it's a pretty good server. While I don't really look for RP groups or such, I would probably recommend it for the population and you might find a social FC. Balmung however, is pretty much considered the unofficial RP server and home of Ruri who I noticed you got along with in the "Show your C@" topic.

Anyway, do some "shopping" and try to find the best server for you. Took me about 7 months myself before I finally pulled the trigger and decided to leave my last server.

From what I can tell from the last 2 server transfers I did in the last 2 weeks, We're in the period between content droughts were people have left due to boredom and sadly the Yo-kai and PoTD were not enough to keep people around and even if you were to transfer to a high pop server that isnt Balmung or Gilgamesh it would seem like the server is dead.

Come to Hyperion. It's a hidden gem.

I agree with what a lot of people are saying in transferring to a different server. However, different servers are busier during different times of the day. Behemoth, for example, is largely busy during EST.

Maybe, try make an alt on different worlds and have a look around before you decide to move, I found my current world this way :P

If EU Odin's a pretty good server for player count and p/f content. Only problem is there's rarely, if any, housing on sale. >_>

I had decided to roll alts to check out different servers with a vague plan of hooking up with someone I knew from the forums. I'd dearly love to join Ruri but Balmung is so packed players stay connected 24/7 rather than risk not getting back into the server. Sadly, that just blocks all the other folks out. Going off of the first responses, Hyperion and Phoenix will be the first stops.

I run a social Linkshell on Balmung. If you're interested send me a tell ingame and I'll send you an invite. I know it's not a Free Company, but it's still a good group of nice people who are very social.

This is simply not true. Everyone I know logs out all the time and I have no problem logging in. Sometimes it pops up with the queue for like 10 or 12 people, just hit cancel and try again and I get right in. As for making a new character on Balmung, yes that is an issue but transfers bypass the "can't make a new character" thing.

How bad are queues on big servers during normaldays and busy days like when new eventz and expansions come out?

Truly it's not that bad. It might take you 5 minutes at most. I think on day one of HW it took me about 10.

I have an alt on Balmung and I've never had an issue getting onto the server. With a new fresh character? Good luck with that but if you transfer your character, it's just like any other server logging on. Sometimes a small queue but generally you're fine. Just hard to try out Balmung in that sense.

I'm on coeurl as well I run a fc on there and my fc is slowly dwindling I've been thinking of packing up and calling soon as well if I can't fine members it's tought on coeurl right now but I've been on this server since 2.0 started I've just got a lot of friends and I'm torn :(

Hi Kacho! I have social anxiety disorder and I find it easier to socialise through the game so I really feel it when nobody is responding or talking. I'm on Ragnarok and playing my Lalafell alt and she's in quite an active Lala LS, more active than any of my other LS's! I'm also in an FC that is quite social, but not an RP one. At the moment, there aren't enough people in my FC interested in doing events so it's strictly social at the moment. I feel like the server as a whole is pretty active though. :)

For what it's worth, I think it's worth considering a transfer. Best of luck! *hugs*

Famfrit is 100% dead so don't bother coming here. One of the 3 people in my FC that play transferred off yesterday. I'm super indecisive otherwise I would have left already, I just can't decide where to go to.

Yeah I love it here I have alts on Balmung but even with the high population its quite hard to make headway with ready established groups. What I find quite good is that I have a group of Australian friends and Americans so there is someone on to talk to all the time here. If you do pop by send a hi!

Well then .... You should come visit us on Ragnarok where there is an active Lalafell *MASTER RACE* Community. Lots of Lalafell related FC's as well and a casual RP community. So can i interest you in joining our FC Ooh Lala ;)

another server on Chaos center is Moogle that one also has a pretty big Lalafell community and the cities are always busy and lively

Try out all the servers you want and then make a decision on where to transfer is my advice though (but come to Chaos we have cookies)

probably lost count as to how many server transfers i did, haha, but not anymore as im happy on mateus, theres still soo many plots in the goblet,lavender beds & the mist not taken up, haha, here to stay though with a special somone :3.

I was thinking of posting a thread similar to this a few hours ago oddly enough. I've been on Midgardsormr since I started and it has always felt pretty dead to me, the only interaction I seem to get is trolling and drama. Thinking of switching to a new server, but that would be a first for me. Any recommendations?

I'm usually pretty quiet, but I know my class quite well. i235 BLM looking for a nice server and FC to settle down in.

you can transfer all characters on one server at one time, so just trade it to a friend and then trade it to alts and move them all. and do the same once you get there and delete the alts.

8 million gil = 8 characters with 1 million :)

êhm to transfer 8 characters he would have to pay 8 times better buy stuff cheap on your server and sell it for more on the new one

Cerberus always seems pretty busy to me, even in the middle of the night (UK time.)
