I was wondering if Ifrit's Cane and other items that may apply are going to get their stats re-itemized with patch 1.20. Since CNJ is getting geared towards WHM and going to get WHM based spells should Ifrit's Cane give Healing Magic Potency instead of Attack Magic Potency? I really would like my Ifrit's Cane to actually be useful to the class I am playing. Or perhaps you can reconsider the two stats and just make magic potency instead of having a healing and attack category. Just an idea.

I think it would be a good idea, as right now it seems kind of useless. Maybe the Moogle one will have healing instead as it looks more soft, cheerful, where as the ifrit one looks more deadly.

i think the ifrit cane has attack damage stats because of "Ifrits raw power" sorta theme.
none of the weapons are really geared towards anything other than DD. and yeah i know, mages are only real class that doesnt need DD but gladiator or mrd could have ifrit weapons for evasion/parry/defence while lancer pug ect has dd.
but instead they all seem heavily aimed at the DD side.
so my thinking is that each primal will have its gear aimed at a certain stat. the moogles being healers, the next primal could be defence and the next after that evasion/parry.
just gunna hve to ride it out n wait n see -

they already stated the cudgel and cane will be fixed, i would assume it will have healing potency.

Please fix the CON/THM weapons the DOW weapons are all best in slot by a HUGE margin, the CON/THM weapons flat out suck.
DOW: 10-20% increase in DPS vs HQ+materia(crafted), even with a HQ+3 crafted with good materia it still is not as good as the DOW ifrit weapons. CON/THM? just for show no reason to equip them. -

Agree that they need to be reitemised to reflect the upcomming job changes.
I would also agree with the OP's idea to consolidate Healing and attack magic into one stat - Magic potency/spell power.
One of the community reps hinted that all mage weapons were going to be reworked. -
