3rd quest of this Moonfire Faire is ridiculous!

How can we get the bomb if so many people kill and try to caught the weaken bomb?? This is impossible at this peak hour to catch the bomb! :mad:

Was about to make a thread on this... Pretty much everyone doing the Quest on Ragnarok is there right now and I still have 0/3 after 15 minutes of running up to the bombs but they die just when I get there...

Having the same problem. People just don't wanna work together. They keep killing the bombs also :/

A few people are just killing all the bombs in the Who Let The Bombs Out quest, making it impossible to finish. It's a poor design. I hope they change it.

Wait a couple days. People always jump on it first thing trying to get what they are after immediately and then it slows down. It is event tradition. Wait a couple days, grab a few friends, do the event at your convenience.

I can't believe this wasn't foreseeable in testing. Incredible.

This doesn't and won't prevent griefing even a few days later.

Like Aryalandi said, wait a couple of days, when rushers will be done it should be easier to participate

It should be foreseeable to anyone who has ever done an xiv event involving other people existing.. two days ago all of the fates in every yokai watch area were full of fate runners. Now there are none.

During all of the ffxi xiii and iroha-xi events the first couple of days the fates are run non-stop. Then they die down a little, then they become empty. It is an easy wait. The level of rage this early on is sort of silly, that's all.

Ultimately we are all stuck in a community that is not a community. The best you can hope for is to join an event party finder if you want an early clear.

We don't seem to be having this problem on Carbuncle.

Some people are creating groups in Party Finder and joining them to complete this quest.

Ragnarok is only getting worse... People are killing them on purpose. One person just ran around spamming holy on level 60. He got reported by a bunch of people, but I don't know if it's a reportable offense. I sure hope so.

Well Shinryu is like Balmung (For the population) and so many people didn't listen the shout and funny thing is, they blame English Speaker because they thought they don't understand the quest xD

people are trolling , on my server a lot of players are using aoes like holy and assize

Also, just a thought, but the other two events are 'instanced' in that the objectives only show up for you. Is it out of the question to assume this is actually bugged?

This is the worst on Balmung.

Who Let The Bombs Out is impossible to complete, too many people camping and mass-spamming AOE attacks, half the time the bombards don't even have the time to fully spawn.

The FATE is nearly just as bad.

all the enemies spawn in tiny radius in the middle and are all one shot by the ebst water attack so everyone stands on top of it spamming and your basically just lucky if you get credit at all.
and they stay after doing it the first time since it gives 5 vouchers if you get credit

at least the second FATE is pretty ok

If only this game had some kind of system to spawn mobs that are instanced just for you.

Sooooo many trolls. The bombs on the third quest aren't even up for five seconds.. I really wanted the armor. Who in their right mind thought everyone would behave. If you give trolls a loophole, they will not ignore it. On our high populated server this event is impossible. :/

The problem, they don't read the quest..., they just "imagine" it is a killing quest. I guess we have to wait a few hours or days they understand.

Nope. Those people exist but some are simply trolling. And admitting it even. Because "so are you going to report 100+ people who kill them or just me for casting holy?" (Answer is just you because you spammed it and are obviously trolling)

Not all that surprising sadly, it is the same as the people laughing and dancing until their party dies on floor 50 Palace of the Dead, people don't really care if they ruin things for everyone else, they think it's funny. Not sure how much of an impact reporting people will do sadly but you can hope it makes a dent.

Anyone know why the poses aren't showing up at the vendor for me? Please dont' tell me I have to finish all 3 quests, cos then I'm SOL.

You do have to finish all three...

Now it's started. There are a couple of people who don't realize the bombs shouldn't be killed and are attacking them.

But still, no one spamming holy is anything like that. Most people are just hitting them with caster weapons on low classes.

Because they have this silly notion that non-jp players have the ability to work together without being selfish jerks.
SE still has hope, it is sweet.. naive, but sweet.

But yes, once people learn the event it will get easier.
And in a couple of days most of the people in a huge hurry will be done and move on, taking most of the trolls with them.

In the meantime I'm just partying up and grabbing enough vouchers from the FATES to buy each of the poses (5 vouchers each). I'll come back and finish the quest when the rush dies down.

On Tonberry it's befofe i can even open key item window.

If past experience with these events has taught me anything, give it a few days. Last summers Moonfire was insane for the first week or so(enemies dying faster then you could tab target them), then it got slow enough that anyone could actually participate once a sub-set of people got what they needed from it. Unless you have a pathological need to be among the first, in which case... go as a class with a non-targetted AoE(im thinking bliz2, flash, overpower, quick nock... those sort of things) and join the herd.

This is a slightly different issue.

So I got the first 2 challenges done no problem. Then the third challenge happened. You are supposed to weaken bombs then catch them with a Key Item. However, everyone either one-hit KOs them or if the bombs can still be caught, there are so many people around and so few bombs that you can't catch one for yourself.

How could SE be so stupid to give you only one place to hunt these bombs and so few to go around when there are so many people trying to catch them? It's like a bunch of poor people trying to get their hands on what little food is available.

So because of this, I can't finish the Moonfire Faire thanks to SE completely screwing us over. Well done, SE.

It would have been better if the devs use 3 zones in each starter region like in the old days instead of a single zone for the whole server.

Not even a little, as the thread has become mostly about the trolls. The original topic has gone poof in a sea of trolls
