Next Part of the Alexander Raid? and who do we fight?

So, not sure if this should go in Lore or not but I have an odd question since I saw a video on Youtube about FF summons. I'm sure we all want to fight Alexander in some shape or form. But how will he look? Since we've already had several reused models from XIII I'm semi-hoping that they use that model, that would be awesome if he was mobile. He could maybe start out in his "fortress" form and then transition into his walking form

Anyone have any thoughts?

A12, mini alexander

You already seen him. We are playing inside the thing already. Alexander in FF series is usually a huge fortress with a robotic and knightly style. Took his inspiration from Alexander The Great. He is a Great Knight too with a Square twist like all summons. Anyway this is Alexander. A huge robotic fortress. Maybe we wil never fight him directly. I always hoped we gonna use him somehow. I really wanna see his Holy Judgement nuking something but due to Lore we gotta destroy it and fast.

I have a few speculations

• More Mad Scientist stuff: Machines are a shoo in but other forms of constructs like Clones or Manikins would also be likely we are also likely get to fight some mobs based on VIII or XIII-2's bosses since both games also deal with messing with Time, with the arena being warped and looking likes its melting. My bets on the Sorceresses, the Crystal Dhamel-like beings Pacos Amethyst and Luvellite, Adel, Ultimercia or the Royal Ripeness
• Roundrox: If Alex is gonna match Final Coil word for word and a tragic prelude to the final battle is likely.
• Alexander himself: It may be his "brain", it may be his heart, it may be a "Prime" manifestation a la Bahamut. But mark my words we will have to contend with the machine itself as his antibodies and anti-viruses fail to purge the sickness that is us. At which point I would expect some references to Ultimecia, Adam and of course past iteration of Alexander

As long as we fight a version of Alexander himself and that his ultimate is called Holy Judgement, I'm ok.

I want to fight the giant fortress itself. Being flown around to different parts on Cid's Airship. Cause what if we "fail" A11 or whatever and it activates and we have to stop it before it reaches Idyllshire. It'll be a cross between Bismark and Steps.

I have an idea who the final boss might be:

The last boss might be Mide's lover since he's the one (and his crew) that got sucked into Alexander's core. But what form he'll take? Who knows?

correct me if I'm wrong but so far there is no real primal Alexander. It's all just the fortress which can control time as it seems. that stupid goblin is plotting everything and we haven't really experienced any sign of a higher power being behind everything.
I guess we will have a literal deus ex machina moment and all of a sudden have to fight something not so goblin- or robot-like

A9: 3 Faust, 2 Hummefaust, 1 Mega Faust, then a Crazy Goblin machine
A10: Trash Stuff or multiple bosses, like A2 and A6
A11: THe scientist that was trapped on the Core (I don't remember his name), who becomes a primal like being, similar to Louisoix on T12. Then he recover his mind after defeat him.
A12: Alexander Prime (Smaller version, Like Bahamut Prime) or Alexander itselft, fighting differen parts of the body while we ascend.

I wil lbe very dissapointed if we don't fight Alexander or Alexander prime and they put a stupid no sense machine.

a9s: A gatekeeper with a gimmick that you have to fight EVERY INSTANCE for some reason, because waiting on cooldowns wasn't bad enough. Then a decently fun boss that makes you think they remembered how to make good raids.
a10s: Simple gimmicks that a few of your team members will fail too often. Not that hard though.
a11s: overtuned garbage that makes you hate the game
a12s: a boss the dev team didn't test without invincible characters. A cheese strat will be found.

It'll be a mashup of gordias and midas basically. None of it will drop any loot worth the hours you put in and the real reward will be a "funny" goblin helmet or possibly chocobo barding. The gear and weapons will be hideous and will only be made more horrible to look at when dyed.

A9: Miniboss --> Living Liquid damaged ; Boss --> Brute Justice Damaged + several add from different precedent floor
A10 : Quickthinx Allthoughts in a black cat giant robot.
[Mide frees her lover but became prisoner.]
A11 : Mide become Ultimecia
A12 : Alexander [giant form]

a9 : gatekeepers as per the norm now, then weird gob machine that prances about
a10: quickthinx redux with guards gob speak central of allknowings
a11: Mide and her lover just cus i kinda wanna see a betrayel
a12: alexander core - would love to see his multiple incarnations of him since he has power of time :p

just my opinion on what i would want

If Alexander isn't at the very least a multi tiered boss room (kind if like Arahcne Eve for example) I'll be very disappointed. Maybe an A7 situation where you need to split the party 4 and 4 to disable different parts of its core before he uses his history rewriting ability to undo the damage.

I like the idea of Mide's BF being on the 3rd floor, and then something bigger on the 4th. Maybe we could even save him and then he shows up as an NPC in the final battle to assist. Dunno about fighting Alex himself, would be cool if possible tho.

3 Fausts, 2 Hummelfausts and 1 brand new Faust...or better yet, Mephistopheles.

All I want is fights that are fun. SE really needs to stop adding the incredibly horrible mechanic of the boss receiving damage stacks after a death in the party. This is the most lazy and horrible fight design. It's just artificial difficulty, and its becoming increasingly frustrating. It's unforgiving and makes every player have to be perfect.

In coil, the fights were difficult. Especially during progression. But as you got better gear, you were afforded small mistakes and it was recoverable. And the more gear you had, the more mistakes could be made. A death didn't mean a wipe, it just meant that everyone else had to pick up the slack a bit to catch up.

At the very least, I would prefer they switch it to the boss receiving Vuln up stacks. In this instance, if you die during progression, you won't meet enrage but at least you can continue practicing and gaining experience in the later phases of the fight. With damage stacks, you might as will just wipe when a person dies because the next raid-wide AoE is going to kill everyone anyways.
