Please make Minion Square and LoV cross server

I just got to the GS for the first time tonight, its a saturday night here in SEA/Pacific region and this room is absolutely dead, I even went out IRL and came back and its still dead, its been dead for 3 hours in what should be peak time.

The leaderboard shows 5 people, its a top 10 leaderboard so only 5 people are actually playing the PvP tournament.

it is dead on every server. if they make it cross server they just multiply with 0.

what they should do - and they really should do this because they have to add skills and balance the stats for every new minion they add to the game wich is just wasted resscources - is to get rid of the whole game and replace it with something what people actually like to play. something like pokemon xD

I think the game is good and I have heard others here say that aswell but the problems I have seen have been:

1) They dont understand it from the tutorial, well I did but I guess a lot wont.

2) The need to travel to the GS to play it, well thats the same as Chocobo racing and thats been fine.

From what I saw on WoW their battle system seemed dead too and I never got in to it, I did not find it fun and I felt it was tacked on. This however seems fun, its MOBA style should be more popular than turn based but if its not than I guess a turn based would suite the FF crowd better.

Im just really worried its gonna go the way of the DX11 client(has lots of graphical problems) and be abandoned.

It's not MOBA style, tho. It's more like a watered down strategy game with only one strategy: Spam Minions with a self attack buff and waltz all over everything with a horde of cheap and fast 300 attack minions.

They really just need some way to increase participation. I think an actual tourney would increase participation. And I don't mean the one we have right now, which is not a tourney but just a lesson on win-trading. I mean a real one, where you sign up, and there's a time where you have to show up, and you play a set person in a bracket that the game determines beforehand. Yes, some people will miss out due to scheduling conflicts, but really you can just rotate the tourney time each time. And then put a big reward like a mount or something for the winner each week.

Honestly I'm against this simply for the fact that I do not want any more resources wasted on LoV. I feel like at this point you can't force people to want it, and the resources are better spent elsewhere.

I can't completely agree because LoV was one of my favourite things to do in the game. But each to their own I suppose, and at this point I do agree it's pretty much a lost cause.

It's not that I think LoV is bad, my opinion stems from the doubt that any changes will make a difference to player participation, there just isn't any interest. They were smart with chocobo racing in that you can do it solo, triple triad is to an extent the same (though it is really uninteresting right now, give us a challenge questline with the CC club or something SE), but LoV requires people to be playing it, which they are not.

The challenges were pretty good imo, and those are single player. They already set up the coding work, now they can just add some more scenarios like the alexander fights. Looking at the minion statistics, a fair amount of people do have the twintania minion, so people did do the challenges at least. But since it's only like a couple hours of content, it didn't last too long.

I could get onboard with more challenges, the problem is that there is no progression system in LoV, so there is no grind unlike the chocobo racing challenges,

if they designed it to be enjoyable we wouldnt have this issue. A quick and yet rewarding battle would have = far more success and participation but sadly they felt the need again to make a life time commitment out of a lolpetbattle. knew the moment I read the patch notes indicating the basic rules/implementation they would be a flop, how they cant see what the rest of the globe does BEFORE implementing is astounding. same with the clunky and drawn out chocobo races.

I may be in the minority in liking LoV, but I know a lot of people liked chocobo racing especially after levelling was made more reasonable. The racing area was packed for the entirety of the gold saucer event on my server, and there's still some people playing even now. It's not entirely clunky once you get used to the lane change system and get a good chocobo. My bird right now glides through the courses. I just wish there were more maps.

LoV is also damn near unplayable on PS4/controller. If you're up against someone on PC/keyboard/mouse you'll lose every time. They need to find a way to balance the controls.
