On level 48 I used one of the items that reduces enemies on the next floor
First room of level 49 had maybe 7 enemies in it

I think the best thing about that is surviving a situation like that without a witch item and get a witch item right after it.

If you want real hate then you haven't had...
Gourmand appear from the side while you were fighting a trubadour or whatevs and have a haagenti spawn right next to you and immediately aggro you too, this happen to you or...
You run into a trap, spawn 3 trubadours, have no witch nor rage yet you still defeat all trubadours move on and have a haagenti spawn right on top of you.
I could go on about my miserable day in deep dungeon today but oh well...

But I prefer to run with friends as its more fun! Hearing someone yell 'MANICOOOOORE!' over Discord in a stupid voice everytime they one punch something cracks me up

Oldish thread and I don't have a screenshot, but I just had a POTD experience that made me immediately think of this thread and I had to put it down in here because I am still laughing my ass off about it.

>queue in to 41-50
>sees 3 DPS / 1 healer party, thinking "good, what a relief this will be after all of the 4 DPS nailbiter parties I've been getting"
>spawn next to a silver chest... BOOM, of course
>then four wandering manticores all enter the starting room at roughly the same time from different directions, and proceed to beat the healer down, quickly followed by the rest of us, in mere seconds. DUTY FAILED

The run lasted less than a minute and obviously zero progress was made, so I can't even be angry at this sort of thing. I was just staring at the screen gape-jawed for a while.

Boyfriend and I were duoing as him tank and me healer and we had just cleared the floor out and had to run back to the key.

I sprinted of course and I noticed he didn't so I slightly chided him for it. Happened like this:

Me: You know you can use sprint when we are just going up a floor by the time we get up your TP will be fine
BF: Yeah, yeah
*load up to next floor*
SPRINT DISABLED (This was our first time seeing this debuff also lol)
Me: ...W-WHAT?
*cue boyfriend laughing his butt off*
BF: You b****** at me to use sprint and the game was like LOLNO
Me: You a**
*few mins later fighting one of those old tree guys (floor 11-21 wandering mob)*
*He uses an attack called "The Wood Remembers"*
BF: The wood remembers NO SPRINT LOL
Me: You a** you're never going to let that go are you

So yeah PotD hated me lol and typical silly couple nonsense ensued. :D

I only needed two points so I jumped in again. Got one point on 42 and got a little excited. Didn't see a single silver chest after that and now I'm sitting at 30/29.

I posted this back in the duty finder thread. Floor 48, 4 dps, 3 smns and a monk. The floor has hp down, hp regen disabled, and gloom while we only have strength, steel, and sight pomanders. We manage to make it to the teleporter around half hp, and as if to give us one last giant middle finger, a gravekeeper spawns and aggros before we teleport so we had to fight it. He killed all 3 smns leaving only the monk to revive us. Floor 49 than had at least 5 gravekeepers walk into the 2nd room in a row. We cleared Edda really easily surprisingly and I got +1/+3 from the run.
