Should Cross Server PF be added?

I think a cross server PF should be added because it can be rather difficult to find people in the same server as you to do certain things due to server population and time zone differences and busy real life schedules, especially with a static and/or FC, plus world transfers may make it even harder for other servers (though I think it depends on what server you're transferring to) to find people to do certain content with.

On the other hand, I see that difficult to add due to limitations, but even so I would love to see it happen soon, especially if raiding Alex Savage or doing extreme trials.

What do y'all think? Should it be added?

They're already working on it. Raid finder was the first step in it.

3.4 would be the absolute earliest, but I bet 3.5 is more likely.

Yeah they already said it was coming. With password support do you can pair with friends on other servers.

Ah. Didn't hear about that part before. I guess I missed it.

I just hope they add a way to filter it, otherwise I see it being overrun with annoying advertisements galore from multiple servers.

I would love a cross server party finder, but at the same time, it's just gonna be filled with these kinds of messages.

- "Gilgamesh static on AS8 looking for BRD/MCH. We raid at this time. Must be willing to pay for transfer."
- "Balmung RP event taking place at this location! Log in on your alts and come give us a hello!"
- "3 star Omni crafter looking for work! Selling Leve kits. Offer only available to Clients of my server!"
- "WTB house on your server before I transfer! Let's work out a deal!"
- "Social FC on this server looking to recruit more people! Create an alt here and check us out!"
- "Hello, this is a troll message wanting your attention and contributes absolutely nothing."

I'm sure there's more things that could be added that wasn't listed; but basically it would just mostly be advertisements to get people to transfer to said person's server.

Just filter /say, /yell, /linkshell, /party, /alliance, /freecompany, etc. That's what I did and the spam went away.

"Raiding with zero organization or control over party members" was doomed to fail from its conception.

Party finder does not use any of those channels.
