i want a suit for my female character. she could look like a professional assassin
The Best Man outfit should work
I think a lot of things should be gender neutral, females can already wear a bunch of the "male" glamours but males can't wear females. I personally want a maid set for my male lala retainer :c.
I wish all outfits were gender-neutral. :)
Only if the maid set is gender neutral as well. That was my favorite feature in Dragon Quest IX...
I guess its cus your at a higher risk of "offending someone" online with cross dressing than you are in a single player game and such. I personally would get a laugh about it but I can see a random person just wanting to go off for zero reason other to start problem about gays and such all the while he is playing a female kitty. :3
i dont like the top of best man suit
Not every piece of gear in the game has to be available to be used by both genders. When gear is designed to be worn by both genders typically that means it ends up - arguably - being designed in a very feminine or androgynous manner. This is especially true of many of the game's hairstyles.
I Wish he maid outfit was gender neutral but what can you do?
I wish both design share the same gear and the character's gender decide what design is showing.
I wish I could actually get it.
Honestly, I dislike that you can't wear opposite gender garments in general. I am a straight male, but dammit, I wanted to wear the red bustier that I found in the Aquapolis!
I'd really like the Moonfire Trunks to be wearable by females too. A bikini/shorts combo would be nice.
I think it was Dragon's Dogma that was limitless in what you could do, and as a result, tons of people were all posting the same screens of big, burly men making super cutesy poses and pulling adorable expressions all over the place. Frankly, I wouldn't like the same in FF. You already get some jokers here and there but it's generally kept in moderation - and as such - is pretty funny. I think a complete lift of gender/race locks on certain gear and emotes would only make things a bit too silly and comedic for my tastes as I can imagine it all becoming rather excessive very quickly. I have a male lala that was created as the sugar lump variety and to tell the truth, I think it'd be pretty funny to get the maid outfit and imagine my friend's lalafel forced him to dress up like and do some embarrassing, girly things(because she wouldn't dare do so herself and he's so eager to oblige her), but I wouldn't like the daily scene in the cities to basically be everyone making one big joke out of the game. I do enjoy the aesthetic side of things after all so it would be disappointing if suddenly everything felt like a generic cash shop game where everyone is wearing silly outfits and just being a general troll. It would take the 'moderation' straight out of the equation and toss it in the trash I imagine.
I'm not sure why this is a issue on either side.
Why can't everyone wear everything? OR
Why does everyone need to be able to wear everything?
I'd have to travel pretty far to see someone dressed in something I wasn't expecting. Most of the time, it's the matrix for all of us, with everyone in the same outfit like agent smith. Everyone starts yelling at each other on the benefits of either not dressing all the same for once and how about we show some creativity OR about how dressing the same makes laundry very easy and getting stains out of black is so much easier than other colors... I sit on the sidelines watching people argue. Meanwhile...I suddenly come to a epiphany... I'm like omg omg omg...WE ARE ALL THE MATRIX GUIS, HALP!
Giant male Roes in frilly maid outfits! YES!
No thanks. It isnt needed and a waste of resources.
Rejected! Make maid attire neutral gender first.
I agree with this.
I'd love the maid outfit on my roebro so I can cosplay Ladybaby.
I want to wear the bunny outfit on my male, so I can be hot.
Me too...me too.
I Wonder how long this thread will last before it inevitably goes to sh*t with people arguing with eachother about what should be gender neutral or not, like all the threads about this ever made.
Me personally i don't care that much. Sure seeing a male with the maid outfit or any other female outfit would make me cringe, but if that guy is happy while running around with them, i don't see why it would be a bad thing.
all I will say about the OP's requests is NO NO NO NO!
If we are going to have outfit that are gender locked to female there need to be outfits that are gender lock to males too otherwise its unfair
with the in-game items promo the Maid outfit was locked to females and Butler outfit is locked to males which is fair for all so if the bulter outfit is to be made gender neutal so should the maid outfit (not that I have any interest in wearing it on my male charicter)
too much that should be locked to males only are being made gender neutral
I would'd like the butler outfit to fit on females because as far as maid outfits go, the one we got is hideous IMO.
Yup i agree with most
I would like the idea of gender removed
(The gender locking in general i mean)
I've got a thavnarian bustier to wear
I personally don't care either way. I don't want to have my male character wearing a maid outfit but I'm sure some people are, even if its <1% of the population.
I kind of wonder if the clothing restrictions bother transgendered people, random thought.
