So we pretty much get the impression that they want to release mor DoM jobs before they release another DoW.
Arcanist is laid out bare as the next step it seems. Any ideas on what it could be? I'm thinking low damage output/low defence but a crazy ammount of buffs/debuffs that when cast bring it up to notch maybe.
For jobs in the future it'll probably branch off into Scholar, Uber-debuffer/ Uber-buffer maybe? Perhaps even SMN in there
But Muskateer is most certainly what I'm looking forward too.....

Hm...with Arcanist having a relation to machinery (see their weapons), and their purpose in Limsa Lominsa being customs checking, I expect we'll get scanning abilities and possibly a magitek-related job.

I'd like to see Archanist as a magitech users with the puppet pet :D Also, be able to deploy traps/devices during combat to do various buffs/debuffs. Such as drop contraptions around the party to grant everyone within their radius Protect and Shield. Or place traps out that cause elemental damage to any enemies that cross between them.

I figured Archanist to be a sort of (and only am I using this by example) Shamman. A person you sets up mechinacal totems that deal damage or gives the party boost. /shrug Either way I can't wait for new classes!
