A way to end the triple GC nonsense that is consistent with lore, Other changes

I have always been critical of the triple GC setup that is the foundation of PVP in this game because of inherent imbalance, dogpiling mentality, winning based on luck, high que times and a focus on PVE elements rather than PVP that comes with it. Even lore wise it seems silly to me that the three city states are fighting with each other when they need to stand united against the Garleans who have more manpower and technology. Makes no sense to me.

Anyway here is a solution that does make sense. Make it so the Grand Companies put aside their petty differences to focus their resources on the true enemy, the Garleans. Then create frontlines that have a 'focus' of training adventurers/troops against Garlean tactics by having one team act as the Garleans and another team act as the Alliance. You therefore allow troops to be familiar with Garlean tactics inside and out in a lore friendly way that makes sense while also making ques easier to manage, easier to balance modes and just flat out better pvp in general.

Another IMPORTANT changes I want to see is to have Wolf Marks have a place in relic quest, a huge part of this game is the relic weapons and SE has already managed to recycle old content and connect newer content with the weapons and also connect different aspects of the game like crafting, hunts, leves, beastmen quests and pretty much everything else. I don't see why PVP of all things was left out in creating incentive to play other aspects of the game.

My understanding is they are still vying for a resource rather than working together collectively. So what I said isn't wrong.

And the idea of sparring for resources and power still makes zero sense, it would be like playing a soccer game to resolve a land dispute, would never happen in the real world it is exclusive to this game that goes through mental gymnastics in order to justify the current system they have in place and it is cringe worthy.

They just choose to tie all modes to Grand Companies atm, but they don't even need to, they are just worried about match fixing which is stupid. They could simply go for a mode like say, the Adventurers' guild or the Ironworks put up a training program open to all and poof, no more lore c***kblock. I don't expect the next FL to be GC tied anymore, everyone is fed up with this system. I actually like the idea of GC teams, it adds rivalry and salt which I find to be fun, until a GC is so dominant or overpopulated that getting a match becomes nearly impossible anymore.

Perfect sense would be to just remove it,
because it's not balanced to have not the same population in both GC.
Even worst if a GC loose too much, players is changing GC to a other one and i can understand it's not fun to loose all match because there a lack of coordination.
This is why it's not balanced for any aspect of the game : queuing, and the win and loose from both GC because players tend to change for the winning GC.

Frankly I expect the opposite, that every single piece of FL content will be tied to the GCs until the 8th Umbral Era.

As for the OP. that would only make sense if the Garleans are playable and as far as I know that concept only exists in Titor's and maybe Theodric's RPs. If this were to be the case instead of the three GCs sparring for data on Omega then it would open up the plot hole that is "Why is the Warrior of Light working for the Garleans" or "How in the seven hells did Garlemald accept the Warrior of Light into their ranks?"

I meant act out as garleans in sparring instead. Not actually playing for them.

There were 3 nations but they only fought each other two at a time. If there were people from the third GC, they were divided between the first two to make it even.

Where does everyone get the lore thing from? Pretty sure Yoshi-p flat out said that the reason behind keeping GC restrictions in place was NOT because of lore

I don't understand why they just don't rename the sides "Yellow" "Red" and Blue" and just take out the symbols on the capture points. Keeping players happy and actually subscribed should trump having a word and a picture on a map. It will just be like mercenaries being hired by a side, or something.
