I blame over congestion and the fact that Balmung literally has too many players with new people who keep transferring to Balmung every day. Dev's need to offer free transfers off Balmung to less populated servers that have an abundance of housing. Balmung is literally bursting at the seams with an incredibly over abundant population.

So would you leave if they offered a free world transfer? or do you just want everyone else to go?

Roleplayers aren't going to move when it's the server with the most people FYI. Just saying that now and I do have a point, honestly.

I was here on Balmung since day one and am part of the roleplay scene. However if they offered to create a designated RP server then yes I would transfer off to go there.

As stated above, I'm a roleplayer. And I believe the entire RP community would make the decision as a whole if SE did create a designated RP server whether to transfer or not to a server with the RP tag.

If they created a designated RP server then I'm sure lots of folks would go. Your comment though makes you sound like an elitist, this is my world get off it. Well it's my world too and I rather like it here and I like the friends that I've made old and new and I wouldn't wish to see them go.

Terribly sorry if it sounded like that as it was not my intention. But the Aether data center has a lot of problems given the facts that two of the most populated RP servers sit on it. (Gilgamesh and Balmung). We have a larger queue getting onto our servers after patches due to the fact there are so many people while less populated servers do not see this problem as badly as we do. Though I will not retract that this is a problem with our server because everyone, not just RP'ers, are drawn to our server due to it's RP Community (for RP'ers) and it's raiding scene (for those who focus on endgame, collecting things, and being the best there ever was). I am not singling out one entire group, I was addressing it as a whole by mentioning the server itself instead of pointing out specific groups.

Lets be happy people, we are packed full of players, and that we are not on a server that is like a ghost town. I don't mind the occasional downtime ... happy to be on the best server, bar none!!!

I don't think alts is the issue, given if you had said characters on the same service account. You can only be on one at any given time. It's more the constant transferring of many accounts coming over to our server. But isn't the near constant queue every time you try to log on just lovely! :rolleyes:

Nope my friends and i aren't leaving either, unless we would be allowed to go as is without having to start over and it would have to be to a server that was heavily populated with RPers. I have no desire to move to a dead world.
