Weeping City NO weekly loots =(

So i turned 60 not to long ago and had a high enough item level to run Weeping City for 2 weeks now. I did not really have any idea what to expect on my first run but I ended up with 230 gloves at the end of it ( completed). The next week I knew a bit more and realized something. I never received the penny or the matter my first week just the gloves. I completed it my second week, a few days ago, and received both the matter and penny in my inventory. I know this was the first time receiving these items because i had no idea what they were even used for until I googled. I bought my first materia this week, sold 400k, and still have the single penny. I should have 2 pennies and 1 matter now but only have 1 penny, what happened?

Also I ran Weeping City for the second time this week and killed first boss and left group after passing. Came back this morning and could only pass on gear I should have been able to need. I looked at the duty screen and saw I was 3/3 when I should be 2/3. Checked my inventory and armory and I did not see any 230 gear, just the one I was currently wearing since last week.


in short: I missed out on weekly loot (penny x1, matter x1, 230 gear x1)
is this a known bug?

Im unaware of any bugs. If u can only select pass it means uve already need/greeded an item this week

Weeping City resets like all other content on tuesday 1 am pdt, except gathering/crafting that resets on thursday. So if you ran let's say tuesday at 2 am then you can't greed/need till the next tuesday at 1 am. Although, even if you did not need/greed an item this week, but forgot to pass on the item and it ended up in your inventory because nobody else rolled on it, than that's counted towards your weekly lockout. If your inventory was full and you ran the dungeon, it will show at the end 3/3 and will tell you in the chat window that it's unable to give you the coin & mhachi matter. check every time you go to make sure that isn't the case. If none of this applies to you, file an support ticket, even so they can't or won't give you the items back but maybe take a look at your account to see what the issue might be.

There was a problem with Void Ark prior, that if you didn't looted for the week (gear) but ended up with the coffin or minion at the end, the system would not let you loot for that week. To that time you needed your gear loot first, before rolling on the coffin lid/minion to avoid that. However they fixed that issue a long time ago and I don't think it applies to Weeping City at the moment, then again I haven't tested it because you never know :)

that must be it i prob have greeded the coffin at the end of my first run on the second week and that counted as my gear piece. That suks =(. RIP penny though, dont know what happend there

coffin, cards and minions don't count for the weekly lockout, only gear. and the penny and the matter are only gained by completing the duty the first time per week.

well if thats true then there is a problem, ill just see what happens this coming week.

For finding out if you have one mhach loot piece hiding somewhere (sometimes I just don't notice items even if I should) you can use /isearch command.

/isearch "partial gear name"

I seem to recall all mhach loot pieces shared a part of their gear name. That is, just to make sure you haven't got one. It should every items you have fitting the search string on you or any of your retainers.

Do /isearch Yafaemi and you'll see if you have any other pieces. If everyone passed an item, I believe it'll randomly get allocated to one of the players anyway and count towards your lockout.

I think the minion and lid are also on the weekly lockout list, because i couldn't roll on the minion last week.

No, only equipment fall under the weekly lockout. If you couldn't lot on the minion, that means you already have the minion or the item is in your inventory.

To OP: The Matter and Penny are weekly drops put directly into your inventory after defeating the final boss. It is possible for you to get an equipment item, but not defeat the final boss. Did your first run end in an abandon?
