Using the so far 3 Miqo'te girls seen (the one in Idyllshire, the one in Mor Dhona, and the one from last year's All Saint's Wake event), I'm wondering why they nearly have no tail at all? Is it like, a puberty thing for Miqo'tes?

Using the so far 3 Miqo'te girls seen (the one in Idyllshire, the one in Mor Dhona, and the one from last year's All Saint's Wake event), I'm wondering why they nearly have no tail at all? Is it like, a puberty thing for Miqo'tes?
I would assume its because kittens have much smaller (proportionately) tails than adult cats do
I don't know, but the fat cat minion has an adorable little nub tail too, and I wish it was an option in character creation.
Because that's how SE designed them
Clearly, the tails grow in a knot that unfolds itself and falls down when it reaches full size.
I believe it is because it increases their adorablity rating by approximately 700 percent.
They likely grow exponentially during puberty and stop when they hit adult age.
Duh, they just grow bigger as we develop. I'm surprised that no one has asked about tail grooming, yet...
But when will we see male miqittens? And for that matter roe, au ra, and lala chikdren.
Well, male miqo'te are rare so... who knows when we'll see male miqittens. SE could always differentiate the genders by letting them have their tails longer at a young age. Or go full cute mode and say their tail's all full grown by early childhood. Their tails would be longer than they were tall.
Lala Children are introduced very early. The Ul'dah quest line has you had out cookies to the children, including Lalafell Children (Which look no different than the adults). Then when you look for Sister Ourcen before Ifrit, you go to a group of children. One is a Lalafell... but he also has a mustache.... But supposedly its a group of children.
I am not entirely convinced that Lalafell don't grow out of the ground, or may be hatched from Eggs.
Could also be, "Childhood," has a different cultural definition in Ul'dah. When we think of children we don't think of physically mature individuals. Could be that, among Lalafell, one remains a child of their parents until well after that point. They might even physically develop relatively quickly, but mentally and emotionally develop much more slowly.
Could be an early-blooming teenager, desperately trying to prove that he's a REAL man by growing a moustache. XD
Seriously, though, if they ever do add actual child models to the game for Lalafell, I hope that they go back and replace some of these models.
In FFXI, there were child models for every race, and could be found in every town. I definitely missed that when I started playing FFXIV. The towns seemed a whole lot less... towny, with no kids running around. It's improved since then, but could still use some work!
I wanna see roe, au ra, and lala children, having children makes the world feel alive. You could have pudgy roe boys, who havent grown into their hulking form yet more curvy female roes, aura with smaller horns and less or more scales and, slightly shorter lala children, honestly the model doesnt have to change much just make them a bit smaller.
