This has happened before. There may have been a critical bug they just discovered, like an exploit or game-breaking glitch or something, and are nipping it in the bud before anyone discovers it. Who knows, so long as they fix it.

Server hardware is cause it says; I wonder if a blade or HD went out on a SAN or something. Who knows, could be a number of things.

If the worlds are up, but no one can get in, that sounds like a larger issue than whatever they resolved earlier. -
