I'm not sure what makes less sense. Wildstar even being in the polls, or Runescape having such a staggering amount. Something honestly smells fishy about this.

they're vote brigading, just like every game on that list. Runescape having 12K people just means that they're better at pushing votes.

Meh. FFXIV is beating that Runescape now. FFXIV beats all in QUALITY though. That rating.

Was a bit surprised not to see FFXI on the list. While it's certainly not what it used to be, it's still active and about as old as Eve or WoW...

Voted ~ Tried some of the other MMOs and decided to go with FF in the end.

I casted my FFXIV vote, but Runescape is untouchable

Runescape will always be king. There is purity in its simplicity, and sometimes event he simplest things are the best. I'm honestly surprised that EVE isn't as high... but then again, people would have to stop playing it to vote and you aren't allowed to stop. :V

Due to voting fraud committed by members of the Runescape and EVE communities both games have been disqualified. Please remember that this is just for fun and artificial manipulation of votes ruins the fun for everyone.

FFXIV has just gone way into the lead with over 3k votes :P

Would be nice for devs to get behind it and advertise the link over the other forum regions.

Don't be too sure about that. A lot of us old-time WoW players have gotten really tired of Blizzard's antics and want no more to do with the franchise, especially this latest expansion which is nothing but a big, stinking, slop of the same old same old.

I tried Runescape and found it overrated. Are you referring to the expansion coming in August for WoW ?

JK... I voted for my XIV because I love this game and really want it to be the best it can.

Going to vote for FFXIV, because WoW and GW2 broke my heart many a times.

They could be referring to Warlords of Draenor, which can be summarized as being trapped in your Garrison, all levels of raid difficulty receiving nomeclature changes for reasons, ability pruning (its necessity is still debated), and having only two major content patches (selfie patch, what even) of the same things we are used to already. A poignant problem that continues to carry over is the content drought, which only gets worse with every expansion if you look at the history.

The jury is still out for Legion, though I honestly wanted an expac like that years ago since BC, and time has worn me down.

how does depth == vanity items? I am talking about content that last longer than a month after a patch.

I.E. look at the timeless isle, firelands daily hub, isle of thunder daily hub, etc etc etc. This game has a minimal amount of long lasting content.

Planned obsolescence. Each new dungeon, raid, etc is designed to last only for as long as it takes them to release the next set of dungeons, raids, etc. That's the very nature of this game. Good or bad, I doubt it will change any time soon.
