Beast Tribe daily allowances

At the moment there are 12 allowances for daily beast tribe quests. Currently I'm running Amalj'aa, Sahagin, Sylph and Kobold daily quests for the Anima Relic quest. While I would like to finish ranking up with the Ixal or start on the HW beast tribes it's just not possible with only 12 allowances. From what I've read, there used to only be 6 allowances before the launch of Heavensward. While 12 is a definite improvement over 6, I still feel 12 is pretty limited given that, with the addition of the Moogles, there are 8 Beast tribes now.

Would it be possible to increase the number of allowances to 15 a day? An extra 3 would make a world of difference. The rewards for each quest are fairly limited and I don't believe an extra 3 allowances would change game balance in a significant manner. TBH though, I have no idea how HW Beast tribes work, in terms of rewards. So, if I'm wrong in that regard please feel free to inform me.

Also, just thought I'd mention this, I'm aware that there are other means to acquiring the Anima Relic tokens. I only made mention of it as it is the reason that 'my' allowances are being used up.

at the moment you are doing all these beast tribe quests (ARR&HW) but after finishing your relic, or got rank 7 on every tribe, or have level'd all your crafters etc. What are you gonna do with the allowances? Sure you could just buy V materia and make some money with that, or you could buy the mats from the vendors to resell. But to be honest, there is no reason that someone would need 15 or more allowances a day, despite the fact mentioned... making money lol. I can tell you out of experience that I use 3 allowances a day, 6 if I get a ranked up and that's for the new moogle chain since everything else is already maxed. It's just pointless and I think it shouldn't be changed.

I would be kinda torn on this kinda thing. On the one hand I do plan on getting ALL the Anima wepaons, on the other hand. I also have a routine that involves several roulette (and weekly appointments on certain days, not to mention players with full-time jobs, school or both), so I feel like thigh would only further cramp my schedule and make me with resets happened earlier than 8:00 even more.

Regarless, its is likely that they would increase the allowances again eventually, we had a limit of...6, was it? initial.

12 allowances is consistent with the game from a historical perspective. Back when there were only 4 Beast Tribes, there were only 6 allowances.
Now there are 8 tribes and 12 allowances, same ratio.

Honestly, they should just get rid of allowances entirely. The Heavensward quests only offer 3 each a day anyway so you don't even use them all up doing all of them every day. Other than maybe bottlenecking pre level 50 crafter level grinding there's no point.

I'd be happier with higher reputation gain on the ARR beast tribes.
They take so much longer than the HW beast tribes to level up and the rewards are worse.
But I still want to max them.

They already increased the reputation from the old beast tribes. And even before that, they didn't take much longer to complete. Don't forget that most of the old beast tribes maxed out at rank 4, and the ixal at rank 7. All the HW beast tribes max out at rank 8.

I'd be ok with them stacking like the Leve allowances. That way, the days I don't get to play, I would be able to run more beast tribe quests on the days I could play.

I think the reputation gain from ARR tribes has been doubled with 3.3, which is already quite interesting. It makes it A LOT faster!

It takes 9 days for Rank 3 from Rank 2.

I'm leveling them up for Relic right now (because it's tough get to Hunts on time on Diabolos) and it's painfully slow to rank up.

Let's remember the time where we had 4 or 5 ARR trib and only 3 allowance...
12 is fine, just need to choose what to do

Accept to spend some time

Only doing 3 max rank quests a day:

Sylphs
Rank 2: 150/15 = 30 quests
Rank 3: 360/21 = 52 quests
Rank 4: 510/30 = 51 quests
133 quests for max rank.

Rank transition quests don't count against your daily allowances.

Don't forget that the reputation gain for the old beast tribes has been doubled since then!

So, I know I started the discussion and then kinda disappeared (something happened to my notifications) but, anyway.

In my time away from here I have finished grinding out my relic and I started working on a couple of the HW tribes. I'm leaning towards the opinion "daily allowances don't even need to be a thing" now. Mainly because the ARR tribes have limited rewards and only the max ranks award anything worthwhile (still working on Ixal so, correct me if I'm wrong) and the HW tribes throttle you just by their very design. Does anyone know SE's goal for these limits? As in, is it to limit the amount of 'new' gil being generated or to keep people from leveling classes too quickly? Both of these points seem fairly moot and to me, dailies are and should be a time investment vs rewards thing without the blatant artificial throttling.

I would love to see a way for them to carry over to the next day like allowances would not see the harm in that and its good for players that don't play every day let's say it stacks to 36 in 3 days or 60 in 5 people would still progress at the same rate just not missing out on days because real life gets in the way xD

Old thread, but even more relevant today. It's crazy that there are now 11 beast tribes but still only 12 daily allowances.

The HW and SB tribes only offer three quests per day anyway so it's not like you can abuse anything to rank up faster than normal. Why not just let us do them all if we want?

I don't get why there's even a global daily cap in the first place. We're already limited on how many quests we can do for a given tribe per day, why limit it further? All it really does is hamper people who are trying to catch up. People who have all the tribes maxed already don't really have a reason to care from what I can tell.
