What hypothetical trials would you like to see from the Wandering Minstrel?

I'd like to see a trial that puts us against all of the XIV'th Legion, or perhaps all three of the known Legatus in an extreme mode fight. Similar to Trial 100 of the International FF12 that puts you against all of the Judge Magisters at once:

I understand that it's not strictly lore accurate as we never had a chance in the main scenario to fight them as a group all at once.... that's why it would be done via the minstrel's fiction.

Also... not interested in this idea for a fight? What trial would you like to see introduced to the game instead?

Aymeric, Kan-E-Senna, Raubahn and Merlwyb together.
All primo in Savage mode would be great :)
Gilgamesh EX or Savage, Odin EX or Savage.
All Cristal Tower EX or Savage.
Midgardsormr EX or Savage.

Personally I'd love to see: Minstrel's Ballad: Ultros' Revenge or Minstrel's Ballad: Return of Gilgamesh... A guy can dream!

Aside from that... Perhaps a Final Coil Savage? Don't get me wrong I love the Final Coil as is... But I'm curious to see what the dev team could do now with making it more difficult.

Gaius, Livia, Nero and Rhitahtyn - "Judgement" or whatnot
Savage Twintania (with some modifications, more divebombs, and attackable while divebombing; possibly even pseudo-mountable with perfect dodges, etc... something crazy in premise)
Ozma Ex (more shit, more hecticness, more cool phases, more distinct forms)
Gilgamesh Ex (new stuff)
Midgardsomer Ex (new stuff)
Some sort of arena setting (where the enemy mob team really works as a badass team; or where the boss is the poor sucker we're trying to take down as hired goons... 'cept he gets more powerful over time and per kill)
Some sort of boss->boss->boss sort of while ascending floors mystic tower setting that is not ST... (Would have to be different somehow from PotD...)
Some sort of tremendously difficult boss fight that is clearly on and makes use of a gunship/airship, with plenty of use of mobility and other class mechanics for innovative tactics?

Another post here in support of fighting the Legati again. Preferably in full RPG-trope gauntlet style — first one at a time, then all together for the finale.

With the build-up the Garleans received during the L1-50 MSQ, it was disappointing that they were wiped out of the story so swiftly when it came time to actually confront them. Especially in their now-humiliating MSQ Roulette battles.

An EX Minstrel Ballad where the Legati completely wipe the floor with us pull after pull after pull is the final showing those characters deserve.

• Primal's Rain: A gauntlet of the 6 Elemental Primals (Garuda, Titan, Ifrit, Ramuh, Leviathan and Shiva) with updated mechanics.
  • Reward: Crystal themed Armor that features the particle effects of the Upgraded Primal Weapons
• The Triad's Pain: A different Gauntlet leading up to the Warring Triad. Featuring Moggle Mog, Odin, Ravana, Bismarck, Sephirot, Zurvan and Sophia
  • Reward: Same as above, but with different effects for different Primals
• The Ballad of the First Brood: a Battle with Migarsomnr and all 7 of his children. Featuring Ratatoskr, Tiamat and the 2 Unamed Dragons
  • Reward: Nidhogg and Hraesvelgr mammots, Draconic assessories
• The Coiled Dirge: A different Gauntlet with Twintania, Nael, Phoenix and Bahamut (yes I'm aware of the overlap)
  • Reward: Dragon themed Weapons.
• Return to Ozma: Ozma EX basically. Built for 8 players taking on the exact same mechanics as in Weeping City, no tweaks or new mwchanics...until Phase 2 where Ozma starts to healer itself with multiple Dark-aspected attacks
  • Reward: Ozma minion.
• Zodiark's Onslaught: A post Zodiark-boss thing where you face off aganst all 12 Ascians, the Warriors of Darkness an Zodiark himself, available after Zodiark would be defeated in the MSQ
  • Reward: An Ascian minion. Oh and the satisfaction of beating what may be the ultimate challenge at that point in the game

The warrior of light tells the minstrel his tale of his fight with Gilgamesh. Suddenly! Gilgamesh slams the door open and says something like "That's not how it happened!" and the whole minstral fight is pretty much what you'd expect from extreme modes. But in real time it's the Warrior of Light trying to set the story straight because Gilgamesh is trying to tell the story his way.

It probably sounds better in my head but it sounds like something Gilgamesh would do.

All primals in one fight. Honestly, it wouldn't even require the minstrel. All the best tribes could just decide to team up and kill the warrior of light. I would love to see this at some point. So many reward possibilities too.

And just think what the fight's music would be like. Maybe even incorporate that into the fight.

And just an idea for mechanics for anyone at se who might read this:
The fight cycles through various untargetable primals executing mechanics from the edges of the arena, with an aetherial reserve in the middle keeping them alive that the party must destroy to win. The music for each primal would play for whatever is executing mechanics, and possibly even fuse the songs together for two primals at once. I know that I'm getting way too into detail for just a hypothetical fight, but once I got this idea, I really liked it. If this idea gets some support in this thread, I might make another one suggesting it.
