Looking to get my hands on that chocobo mount, so was looking to buy something off amazon. But I don't see any indication (like squares post said I should) that anything is qualified. Am I missing it or something? Does it not show up until checkout?

If you see that and it says: "Ships from and sold by Amazon.com." you're golden!

It has to be from Amazon.com. It has to be sold and shipped by Amazon. It has to be $19.99 or more.
Scroll down the product page tot he Promotions section and look for the: "Spend $19.99 or more in the Amazon Video Games Category to receive six exclusive in-game items for "Final Fantasy XIV"
If you see that listed in the promotions section it counts for the promotion.
Also the FFXIV game time cards do count for the promotion

Also, preordering something does count for this. So if there's a game you were looking to grab, it's likely on the promotion.
Press ctrl+F: Final Fantasy XIV
use that on every page of any item you would like to buy, you'll know right away if the item is eligible for the promotion then.
I bought $20 PS3 store credit. Just enough to get the promotion.

How about digital downloads for games sold by Amazon?
I see on Amazon that the Darksouls 3 PC version with steam has the FF14 promotion down below so it sounds like it's eligible. But then the rules state it has to be something that is "shipped".
You can get an additional code for a second order by contacting support. However, don't contact them by email; use live chat. I also suggest waiting the two days after the order. Being impatient may not give you the best "support"
