Status update on the extra controller hotbar!

When will you be increasing the item count available for housing both indoors and outdoors?

As it stands larges are severely empty with their 200 cap.

Many Free Companies on Balmung hold events on a stage.
Would it be possible to create a stage furnishing complete with lights and allowing us to place furnishings on it?
We currently have to create stages with multiple items and it eats up our item count, not only that but we cannot place props like chairs or beds on them either as they are considered tables.

You recently added the Chirurgeon's Curtain. Is there a possibility we could have window wall drape furnishings and other Curtain types?

Balmungs housing plots sold out in a matter of minutes, As did with many other high population servers with many people buying up more than one plot on their accounts.
Is there going to be anything done to consolidate for the high population of some servers in terms of housing?

This question weighs heavy on a lot of peoples minds and the GM's seem to give mixed responses.
Is buying a house only to resell for higher against the ToS and is it a bannable offence?
A lot of people got cheated out of housing by large FC's who bought multiple houses to resell for sometimes 20 times their initial value.

Any update on when we will be getting support for user created add ons ?

Will we see anymore synthesis furnishings that use Manor Varnish or Fine Wax? Perhaps a Manor Canopy Bed? Or maybe a Manor exterior Wall so we can make our homes look more like Haukke Manor on the outisde?

Since summer is coming can we get some more 2 piece bikinis for female characters?

Any update regarding expanding player and retainer inventories, and the armory chest?

When last I checked, it seemed like there were a fair number of cutscenes missing from The Neverending Journey, particularly seasonal events among others. Are there any plans to patch these in?

Will we be hearing more about the planned Ishgardian Apartments/Housing leading up to Patch 3.4, now that 3.3 has seen the conclusion of the Dragonsong War?

There have been mentions in the past about the possibility of increasing the item cap for furnishings that can be in an estate, particularly for mansions, which are currently limited to 200 items. Are there any plans to implement this in the near future?

With the release of 3.3, are we see a new trend of content that will be more mechanic heavy, but still able to be cleared by paying attention?

Can you allow Gordias Savage Manifesto to be traded in for fourth step relic items at a better rate than Precision items of their respective floors?

I know that the question was directly for summoners, but it's an opportune time to ask. Allot of scholars just want their carbuncles back, some want more color palette options, and others a male variant. Fairies do glamour themselves in most mythology so I feel the lore would be flexible.


Was SCH considered in part of this glamour system?

Instead of a companion chocobo, can we get a humanoid companion like the "path companions" from 1.0?

When are we getting our interesting stats back?

When, if ever are we getting interesting stats?

Are there plans to increase enmity for lower-level tanks? I can't count how many times I've ran with a new tank (very often Paladin), who could never hold aggro in lower-level dungeons due to the gear difference even when synced down and barely attacking. I believe this discourages new players from playing the class and prevents the player from learning how to hold aggro. It also doesn't help that Shield Oath isn't obtained until late in the leveling process.

Can Castrum Meridianum and Praetorium be reworked? Being the only two non-raid 8-player dungeons, they have too many cutscenes throughout the level. Players who want to want to watch the cutscene get left behind and do not enjoy the dungeon, and old players more often than not will not wait for new players to finish (and they can't be blamed for that either). New players who watch the cutscenes on Praetorium will not even get to play since the cutscenes are long enough and in succession enough to last the whole dungeon the first time playing.

I know the team has done a fantastic job better implementing cutscenes and story in dungeons past 2.0, but is there any way to rework these older two dungeons to fit with the overall experience for future new players instead of being known as 'those two dungeons'?

As you add more PvP maps, older maps become obsolete and "dead". Do you have any plans to mitigate this, such as adding a lobby that people can join that rotates through all the maps?

On my server, it's impossible to get a legit Verminion queue any more. Are there plans to increase Verminion participation, such as with cross server queues or bracketed tournaments with automatic matchmaking (so people don't just play their alts)?

will Astrologian ever see it's unique stance dancing mid combat introduced in future?

Are there any plans to add a Raid Roulette? Specifically for the 24-player duties, which would help wait times immensely.

With healer balance concerns, is it unlikely we will see a new healer job in future updates?

Will we be getting more notable NPC outfits and hairstyles on the Mogstation any time soon? We had the Scions in bulk originally and then only just Cid and the Ironworks recently, so I'm wondering if we'll get another bulk batch soon. Maybe some of the leaders like Nanamo or Rauhban or are those characters off limits?

Can you add a "score screen" to PvE dungeons, such as the one used by PvP, that displays damage mitigated, healed, overall damage, raises, etc. so that players can get a better feel of how they're doing without having to use 3rd party parsing tools?

Are you going to add Swimming in 4.0 finally?

Can you enable mount abilities that were available during quests but were removed when we actually got the mount? Ie: witch's broom's cast ability, Sanuwa's buffet ability, etc.

In the 3.0 Heavensward story, we were drawn into the Dragonsong War between Ishgard and Nidhogg. Because of this, one of the main story NPCs was Estinien, a character that Dragoon Players were already well-acquainted with from their A Realm Reborn Questline. So my question is, will we be seeing more Job Storylines and NPCs play into future expansions like this? For example, a popular idea is that 4.0 may concern Ala Mhigo and their resistance. Were this the case, we might see Widargelt play a role? Are there any plans to include other Job-related NPCs in future Main Story Questlines as Estinien was?

When the Leviathan trial first came out, Yoshi-P said it would be unfair to other classes if smn got new egis and that we would have to wait for an expansion. After the expansion Yoshi-P said that the pet system was really complicated and that's why we didn't get them. If we get glamors does this mean we will never get new pets?

Can you ease the requirements for the "High Roller" title achievement that requires us to basically win the Cactpot to achieve? Every other requirement for that achievement we can work towards, but we cannot augment our luck for the 1 million Cactpot winnings requirement for the "Work Smarter, Not Harder" part. Maybe lower the MGP requirement for the "Work Smarter, Not Harder" part, or allow us to spend more MGP to increase our odds of winning such as by buying more Cactpot tickets?

Why are casters not allowed to glamour into heavier-looking armour? Glamours have more restrictions when it comes to casters, as tanks can glamour not only into other tank gear but also general Disciple of War gear (of which there are plentiful). Whereas casters can usually only glamour into something specific to their Job or those available to all classes. Most tanks often glamour into what I would describe as 'casual gear' anyway (like suits or bikinis), so why can the casters not do the opposite and wear heavy armour?

What is your favorite part of FFXIV so far?

Will there be a FFXV launch event in FFXIV similar to the Lightning Returns event?

Ever since the release of 3.3 and its more challenging, mechanic-driven content, there have been concerns about it getting "nerfed", like Pharos Sirius, Amdapor Keep, and Steps of Faith before. What goes into the decision to ease the difficulty of content, and at what point do you decide that content is too hard, versus players simply lacking in familiarity/skill?

When recycling enemy models do you decide carefully what ones you'll take from what games and consider how they'll fit into Eorzea? This has been something that I've been pretty curious about, I think you did a good job making XI's bestiary and some of XIII's enemies fit into Eorzea, I'd say the latter looks more in place in Eorzea than it does in XIII :) Seriously those Dreadnoughts, my favorite FF enemy mind you, do look like something the Allagans would have made.

I also really look forward to all the re-imagined stuff from past games you bring into Eorzea, as a long time FF fan, XIV just hits all the right spots for me when you play the nostalgia card.

Also, thank you for the awesome patch! Easily my favorite one yet.

I really like the Living Liquid from Alexander: Gordias, at least design wise. Can there be a minion of Living Liquid to collect, perhaps as crafted and tradable? I figure with Alexander ending in 3.4 it might be the best chance to have one implemented.
