Aether Data Center: Who's Up For "Shatterdays" as well and Seal Rock Sundays?

I think the title makes it pretty clear. Let's keep PvP alive, both new AND old! Who's in?

I'd like it if they either kept seal alive..or added field of glory to the old seal achievements so people can still get the field commander stuff, http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...-commander-set There is also a thread for it if you want to make the point known that they should of at least done that for the patch.

Honestly I'd like if there was a Feast day too.
I just lost my rank because I xfered recently and I'm getting anxious wondering if I'll be able to make it back in the top 100 at all given how no one Feasting on the leader boards.

On weekends I queue both Feast and Seal Rock. Add in Shatter and I'm set and ready for it all!

Let's keep this good thing going on our data center! Friday - Sunday, queue all 3 if you want to PvP! (Lacey needs an ADS mount! :D)

Been getting < 5 minute, 72-man pops as Flames.

lol what the heck. Oddly, if I switch to selecting all 4 frontline modes the wait time becomes "more than 30 minutes"

Are we doing this?

Can this be a thing?

Anyone have an idea of a proposed time frame so I can make a thread on reddit if enough interest is shown?

I'd actually like to know if this ever did kick off, I have waited in seal que on Sunday's for a bit now to no progress.

Oh it's alive and active. I personally queue for Field of Glory, Seal Rock, and the Feast every time, though I'm far more likely to get a Shatter match right now than anything else. As FoG/Shatter is new with a new reward, most players are doing that.

Also, I should note: For those that are switching GCs to possibly get faster queues, because all 3 GCs are required for a match, mass exodus to one or another actuallywould unbalance the numbers and make for longer queues. Please take that into consideration.

No, Shatter usually pops first.

that sounds nice but what about feast? we should revive it.

I love the Feast! And I really want to play it more. But as the season nears it's end, most people aren't queuing in order to preserve their score/rank.

Still, as part of our weekend PvP, I encourage people to queue all 3! To support that, use this thread as a notification board for queuing specific game modes!

I don't really have solid evidence of this, but I'm inclined to think that queueing for more than one mode of pvp kinda messes with the matchmaking algorithm and thus could possibly result in longer queue times, so keep that in mind.

As for myself, at least until the new season of Feast, I'll be largely queueing Shatter for mount/title/finishing off Hand of Mercy.

Yeah, most are focused on that atm. I myself really want to continue to work toward my long-sought ADS mount (either one), and I'll just have to accept finishing Season 1 at Silver (should be Gold but I got a lot of new players/first timers for quite a stretch)

We ought to create some kind of Aether player-made match rotation (a la "Seize the FriDay", "Shatterdays", "the Sunday Feast", etc.) Those are just clever names, not really set ideas. I'm good at catchy names, lol.

Maybe something like Feast Fridays, Shatterdays and Seize Sundays. I'm on Sargatanas I could possibly start up a LS to see if I can gather PVP people.

I don't mind and maybe if we can get others on different servers to do the same we can maybe sync up enough people to get some PVP nights going much like the big Crystal Tower nights that were going on.

I'm gonna start queing seal more on sunday so if anyone wants to join in.

edit I qued today and it actually popped. For the first time in like 4 weeks.

edit two sadly it never qued again but..I'm not stopping lol I'll start queing around noon hopefully on sunday.

Tonight wasn't bad and I was sable to get a few runs in (I think I was on a winning team once lol) but at least people were doing it.The wait times were still a bit long but the servers were crashing a lot tonight it seemed, once that started happening there were less people. Gonna go at it again tomorrow night and hopefully more people keep joining PVP is a lot of fun.

Currently queing for seal if anyone wants to join and speed it up, gonna be doing it the rest of the day.

I was getting a few people to do some PVP on the weekend but it just seemed like not many were interested. I managed ti get roughly 4-6 runs in a night of Shatter but Feast was a no go.

Yeah the PVP scene isn't doing that great atm..I'm only continuing with seal to get the field commander coat and then I'll probably stop just on the fact of how long the ques take. If they even pop at all.

If Flames from Gilgamesh will stop making premade and ruin my Saturday.

Yeah, premades make it boring for me. I just log and do other stuff if I find premades playing.
