Just curious to see how everyone did with housing.

Did you get the house you wanted?
Did you get a chance at buying a house?

What was your queue like?

With a queue of over 2k on balmung not a chance. My hubby had a queue of 800 down to 300 on this post.. So likely all taken..

most of balmung sold out within a few minutes. There are still a -few- left.

Only a few left on Leviathan. Can't wait for the shitstorm on the forums when people wake up or come home from work.

I'm hoping someone on my FC managed to log in to be able to get a house, I had a bunch of friends who said they wanted to get their own houses, I wonder if they got them.....

All but the largest plot on Balmung taken within the first 15 or 16 minutes on all wards, all plots likely gone in 20 minutes. Whoever thought this out clearly failed to factor in server populations.

A lot of people seem to have bought them to resell though, so expect lots of reddit threads tripling the price.

You should have had counter procedures.

It was also very foolish to only release 4 wards on Balmung, too.

Got screwed over by four 5006 errors trying to get into the data center and starting 2000 in the que, still waiting to get in.

I got at least some house, so hopefully will survive there till the Ishgardian housing - hopefully they will add all 12 wards there so better chance to buy house one would want.

So party finder is full of people selling on Balmung, awesome job SE another home run! Would love a dev response on selling plots, since we cant ever get one cause they seem to just not care!

Balmung sold out, so unless you're just gonna go do the patch content, don't bother looking for a house.

Everything is literally sold.

Nope...no house for me or any of my fc friends this go around. By the time our first member got in the game. Everything was gone but a handful of larges and mediums. He watched them get snapped up as the rest of us fought 1k+ queues. Canceled my queue and logged out when he announced it was over...exactly 20 minutes after servers were open.

And now there's people in party finder gloating that they have a house. Some days...I hate this game and this community...

We need to massively report them when they will create PF and adds on servers, I know a lot of player don't care cause they already have a house or don't care about housing but, if someone got report a 100 times for the same thing they will probably have no choice but take actions

Nope, FC still homeless.

Keep hearing how one FC bought up most of the houses on Balmung, and prices aren't just tripled. Just got a screenshot of small plots for 75 and 50m.

there are currently 26 diff people posting in party finder looking to buy a house on balmung. Some offering 20mil+ to abandon a small.
Lots of people are making a -lot- of gil today.

I love getting a lobby error 4 times in a row and then logging in to a 2500 person queue on my 5th time trying to log in. It's great fun hearing my FC tell me how each zone is now completely sold out and there are still 1000 people ahead of me. I hate feeling so bitter but honestly I'm so upset right now after all the time I spent preparing for this.

balmung just sucks if you are looking for a house. I should of never got my hopes up knowing that it will be gone right when servers go up.

And SE will probably lost a lot a money, some players will probably leave the game and "advertise" about it to their friends

Lobby errors, and a literal 3k+ queue.

And like stated before, there are people upselling them.

You and me both. Client crashed 3 times before could finally get through to the login server, then got stuck in 1.6k que...got in, everything was gone. I should've stayed asleep

NOPE. I'm going to cancel my subscription unless they fix this nonsense.

I really have no idea why instanced housing wasn't a thing lol

The whole housing situation has got to be one of SE's biggest blunders

i had to reinstall mine =/ so i had no chance.

Then report them! Don't just sit there with gritted teeth, file reports on the company and those doing it, take screenshots, note the plot numbers, and make your own PF encouraging others to do the same.

SE might be able to let slip a report or two, but they can't ignore large groups of people. The only way this problem will be stamped out is if we start refusing to accept it and take action instead of merely complaining.

Nope, clicked login right at 6am to the second, hit play, que 100, on refresh got kicked 5006, next que 2000.
I'm cancelling, this was the only reason I've been mining and crap for 2 months daily.

Dumbest idea ever adding the ability to have personal housing too, shouldve kept this crap to FC only.
