Constant Disconnects- (30002)1320003409,38112040,5

I cant seem to do anything without disconnecting. Very close to giving up altogether. Its not my router or PC and Download/ Upload speeds seem to be fine. I get several server errors after R0ing... cant even play basically.

Constant R0, diconnects. I have tried and had the same issue on my other laptop as well , so I know it is not PC related. Also conected directly to modem so not router related.

Steps:
Log in, do a few things then Disconnect

November 5th was the first day it happened. Happened about 5 times in a span of about 45 min. And so far, November 7-10, it's been happening constantly between the times of 10am - 4pm PST.

Uldah for November 5th and Uldah/Natalan for November 7-10

5) What were you doing when the error occurred?
Usually just standing around in Uldah, and in Natalan I was partying.

6) Were you in a party at the time the error occurred? In Natalan, yes. In Uldah, no.

There were 5 people in my pt including me, and a pt of 7 near us when this started happening.

8) Were you able to log back into FFXIV after the error?
Sometimes i'd be able to, but i'd get kicked off in a matter of seconds right after.

this has happened to me 3 times today in the span of 2 hours. 1st time i clicked on the gear tab in the menu and the game crashed. next, i was selling something to an NPC, and the game crashed. third time, i clicked on the aetherite at drybone to start a fishing leve, and it crashed.

I was having this issue... i'm worrying if they will fix those problem before next patch....

I'm not suffering from this (thankfully) but almost every PT I'm in, at least 2-4 members have this happen every 5-15mins, which makes PTing very annoying atm. (Since it always seems to be the tank or healer.)

I, and many many others, have had the same problem every time, every day... i am starting to give up too, because it's been like this for many many months now, and every time i go here to the forums, i get the copy-pasted reply from the devs you see above... "We're working on it... give us your data... bla bla bla"...

Devs, here's some advice: DO SOMETHING FOR REAL! Look at the forums, how many people need to be on your list for you to see that something need to be done NOW... You've been "looking into it" for many months now... No one has seen progress about this issue still... Time to wake up and put your ass into gear, because it's a big issue because i see MANY people leaving the game just for this issue...

Ahh yes...and to say more, it isn't a connection issue because I change locations from one to the next and it can still happen no matter what the connection is~.~ I hope someone can address this issue before I decide it's too much to handle.

I haven't had a problem until tonight. had this error like 6 times within 20 minutes. Couldn't do anything so just logged.

I keep getting Server Errors --> (30002)1321683623,28523325,5 <-- PLEASE fix this Issue, i keep Disconnecting every 1-4 minutes, I cant play nor craft or do anything!!! Its been going on for a very long time, many other people are having this Issue...

This is a very common issue as of today for a lot of players. all of which, when i ask, happen to be Comcast and Time warner users. Keta, i know, and her system requirements are not the issue at all. The issue is a communication error between their ISP and SE's server, when something similar occurs at a personal level its due to a firewall configuration, im not to familiar with the higher bigger servers though, but i dont see how this would be a hard fix. at the worst it would just shut the game down for 5-30 minutes to get it fixed, and A LOT of people that play use comcast and time warner to play. so would be a good thing to fix it asap.

I'm on Bright House and getting the error. never started till LATE on Friday the 18th. Before then, I would be able to stay logged in for days.

Issue just started for me last night. I was connected for 3-4 hours with no problem. I tried to return from the Uldah Market Wards to my home point in the Gridania area, and I got this error for the first time. After I logged back in, the game seemed to stutter at times. Interactions with NPCs and selections from menus seemed to have a significant delay. And then I started getting disconnected every 10-20 minutes.

No this isn't really an issue between our ISP's and SE servers, it's happening clear across the board. Regardless of the ISP it's happening to Roadrunner users, Cox users, WOW (ISP Not game) users, Comcast, Warner, and German, England, Australian, and so forth need I continue? It's happening to a majority on my linkshell and it's getting old.

We were fighting Ifrit last night and everyone would start getting the error 30002. For you to make such a definitive statement on it being an issue with Time Warner and Comcast proves you have no idea about what your talking about. So post your info or GTFO. Don't make this about users ISP, this is about something borked with SE's servers and lobby servers.

Change some settings on your NIC card will normally resolve the issue. Yes, it is most likely server side, however it can be managed client side.

The issue started happening so often (was rarely happening before) yesterday December 10th 2011

I am having the same problem. 7 disconnects today, 4 in the span of 10 mins.

it seems like the server refuses to catch up with the client (or allow the client to catch up), if any data is lost the game assumes you have disconnected and boots you prematurely

Agreed. I'm on an internet now that randomly gets slow but doesn't fully disconnect, and every time this happens the game boots me. I can't play for more than 15-30 minutes now ; ;.

It is so bad not to have any official reply from the S-E team on this subject....

Just tell us that our connection is too bad for playing the game so we can just give up hope and move on to somewhere else, but SPEAK lol

Yesterday I had a veeeeery smooth play. Just one or two disconnects in 4 or so hours of play time.

I was so happy. Wander if they changed something.

Another thing that I noticed is that windows alerted me that some updates were downloaded and that it was possible to restart the PC in order to install them. Could it be that my PC has been downloading the above during the last week and that it stole bandwidth? Really hope it was that. I'll see today.

They need a countdown percentage like in FFXI, this instant boot for a milisecond of packets being dropped is bogus

I'm not going to bother posting the list others are. Ever since this update of 1.20 I have had this disconnect more than 5 times in one day. Used to be maybe 1-2 times a month. Something is seriously broken with this update.

it starter again for me also... it somehow stopped happening, but after the latest patch (1.20a) it started again, as bad as before....

There should really be some official words on this.... it is so depressing. Had to skip Darkhold event with my LS due to this and I cannot even finish a single craft before it disconnects again. going to quit soon, I think.

Starting to happen to me now as well. I cant stay in game for more than 5 minutes. Having problems with Lodestone as well.

There is really something wrong with this server that needs addressing.
And not one person from SE about this other than the one in post #2? Be nice to know this is even being looked into.

This error has happen the last two nights , seems to start around the same time, around 6:45am MNT it will DC me and give me the error , but now there is something new. I try to log back in and get

Also that the lobby server has encountered an error and i am unable to log in for the time being due to this new error.
I mean i know there are issues with new patches but this seems like something that would be handled before billing would start. Since that is going to be soon i look forward to this getting fixed ASAP.

This started happening to me AFTER patch 1.19, before then I had zero issues, lately it is getting much worse.

3) Frequency of 30002 Error? Depends, I have been able to stay online for 4-5 hours with no problems then disconnect all the sudden or as little as 4 minutes or less, and disconnect in blocks of 3-4 minutes afterwards...

I have tried multiple things on my end to prevent this error, including buying a new Modem/Router setup, and also changing the network adapter settings that HyTek suggested, with no changes.

O look i found another one, this one has happened much less but seem to only happen in town. When the game begins to load the zone.

Hey guys,
I had some d/c issue before but fortunately I know a little networking and found out asianet was dropping my packets!

When you're getting the D/Cs do multiple tracert -h 50 traceip.ffxiv.com and see if some backbone provider is messing your connection up!

My connect is running smoothly again. Comcast came and fixed a "noise" problem somewhere and now everything is back to normal. Too many cut and splices within the wire apparently...
