Any news about the Butler/Maid outfits?

Since that NA accounts got their ways now, I'm mostly changing the topic for EU.

So if anyone has information about the outfits for EU accounts, please say it here.

Nothing official. Square has mentioned looking into a similar promotion for North America and Europe but I wouldn't be surprised if they just put the mounts/minions on the Mog Station due to so many different countries being involved.

All they've said is that they're planning on giving it to us. If I remember correctly I saw a post saying they were in talks already. Not %100 sure though.

I wish they would hurry, if they take too long, I may loose interest in them as clothing has an expiration date due to fashion.

Maid dress never dies, if you love maid cafe things.

Last update was given by Yoshi-P at PAX East as far as I know. He stated that everything on his end is completed.

My guess is that we are waiting on the business side of things and for SE to find and/or approve a contract with a vendor in the US (and other countries) and then fulfill any legal requirements to hold a promotion such as this in said countries.

basically just confirms the people who want the maid outfit see it as flavor of the week and want to be with the in crowd. like my post in another thread "oooh shiny!" effect.

Well you actually want it, that's nice :) I should have said majority but it's true when I say that these people buy the shiny thing, look at bennu's day 1 a lot of people had them out, now that the novelty has worn out haven't seen 1 all week and I go traveling in Eorzea. (I get so bored and it's kinda sad, I pretend I'm lightning trapped in Eorzea cause I missed the event :c and go to Azys La fighting Dreadnoughts for screenies) Muh sub.

I want it for the dress's shape. :\ I used to wear a similar style dress on my battlemage in another MMO. I really miss my little lolita dress. I fully intend to try to get it as close to looking like said dress as I can. I will probably use it on quite a few jobs, tbh.

I want it for my White Mage and Astrologian. Plus we have no poofy dresses that don't have flat physics so this is new. Also, those heels are gorgeous and we have very few heel options since they stuck fishnets on the bunny shoes that look stupid without the matching bunny bottom.

I'd like the butler outfit for my WHM (on my other Lala) since I've had him with the Witch's Coatee since forever now and the Best Man's Jacket just doesn't cut it for the look I'm trying to go for (which the butler outfit suits perfectly and I'd definitely keep him dressed like that )

there is the highhouse halfboot, it has a small heel and avoids that hookerish thigh high look. As they go up just past the ankle.

Those are awesome, I would love that dress for glamour!

I'd like the butler set. I based myself on the demon butler Sebastian from the manga/anime Black Butler for the look of my character, so if I could get ingame with a butler set I'd be happy and I could RP that I'm a demon out to take people souls. Moua!!! Mouahh!!

I believe in the thread about the glamours ("Can we get these Region Exclusives China is Getting?" or something of the like) there were a few pictures posted of the dress dyed, but I can't seem to find the thread they were posted in. =/

Now THIS is what I want them to bring over. I would love this for my SMN/BLM (and other DPS classes if I ever level them ;; ) glamours.

EDIT: Only if it's dyeable. Is it dyeable? If not, red isn't my Au Ra's color. ;;;;

It most certainly is dyeable. :'D

Just to nip it in the bud so it doesn't start a huge debate, the Korean and Chinese glams were made by the distributing companies (because that way the games abide by Korea and China's unique censorship/payment laws), not SE, so SE doesn't have 100% control to just port it into the US version like they technically do with the maid and butler outfits. So to get those it'll take a ton of extra support and way longer of a time frame.

(They are gorgeous though, just not easy for us to get.)
