Top 5 XI Armor Sets players want in XIV

So I asked people on reddit to shout out what armor sets from xi they wanted to see in xiv and these sets came up.

Any of the original Abjuration sets.

Seeing these makes me very thankful that we have varying silhouettes, and not a lot of baggy shorts...

I want an Auspex Doublet so hard...

Never played XI, but i like the look of #2. Anything to give us more tattoos.

Dancer AF, please....


.....actually just give us the Dancer job too.

Nobles Tunic, Blessed Trousers/Cuffs/Pumps. That is all.

If I remember number is for Beast Master a true pet class. We won't see something like that till Beast Master comes comes out as a Job.

Iqqira Weskit was actually BLM gear though and not BST, despite the appearance, surprisingly (something to do with it being based on the tarutaru's tribal origins before Windurst was founded if I remember rightly).

As for FFXI gear I would love to see in FFXIV....

Iron Musketeer/Adaman Armour (yes I know the ultimate form of that, Koenig's armour, is already in FFXIV as the Wootz set, but the earlier versions had slight variations that looked just as good)
Novennial set
Opaline set (aka the FFXI wedding set)
Eisen armour (there is just something about that sets it apart from every other type of armour in the game, it completely unique)
FFXI-style AF (that looks totally different to FFXIV AF)
Holy breastplate (plate armour for healers!)

Just a doublet. Almost any doublet. I'm not terribly picky.

I think they should introduce ffxi's starting racial gear as glamour.

Also they could do some of the npcs outfits for veteran reward or cash shop. I'd like to see lion and prishe outfits personally.

Dalmatica body for healers. I loved the look soo much. I would love the kirin osode with byakko pants, seiryu kote, suzaku feet and yeah genbu helm for the lolz.

I'd like the Blessed set or the Noble's Tunic set

Not as much of a fan of the mitts anymore, but I could glamour over them just to have the set.

Kirin's Osode. Hell..whole god gear set. Cuz chasing lalas around in FL in mnk's current attire makes me feel like a pedo-clown. Would love to see the Twilight armor head/body armor again too.
