Monster Hunter Event! (please)

With "Generations" making its way to the West this summer, it seems like a perfect time to bring it up. It would most likely take much longer for the asset team to come up with anything, of course, but Generations is a fresh (and very successful) installment and the MH franchise isn't a stranger to working with other companies for DLC and quests, including Square Enix.

I think it's a viable consideration when taking into account the massive success the MH franchise already has in Japan (though less so in the West) and the fact that these two companies have already been open to working together in the past.

I'm not saying it should take precedence over any other potential events but it's certainly one I've been wanting for a while. Any other Hunters of Eorzea out there?

I wish I could find the thread but someone made a thread like this and another member posted some good images of what weapon each class could be rewarded with. I think it was on this forum. It'd be defintly be more well recieved than Youkai Watch

I certainly wouldn't say no. One of my favorite series and only reason I bought a Wii U in the first place. They could even do an event (or perhaps a timed dungeon?) Where you fight a monster or two from the game and get rewarded with your ticket. 1 per armor piece meaning at least 5 runs, or I guess lump it into another fate zerg fest more than likely.

I would be so on board with a MH crossover. MH needs more love. :c

I feel bad that I'm so terrible at Monster Hunter I end up not playing much. Maybe after I've done with my backlog of games I'll give 4U a proper shot, it looks like a really nice game. Dark Souls III and Final Fantasy IX are taking up my time.
