Can we plz get maps to be stackable

Me and a few of my fc mates alway wait until Friday to do our maps
it's becoming a pain to store n we really enjoy. Can we get a stack option
similar to the "Green" Hidden map

It's supposed to be like that in order to place a limit. I would not expect any change on this. It's supposed to be a daily activity and not something you can store and do all at once. For better or worse this is how the designed this and how they interned it to be.

Yeah but can easily bypass this lol. I just mail my maps to my bf and he mails them back instantly. I've over 16 maps waiting in my mailbox.

Well when I make map groups we usually do at least 4 maps per person or its not worth the effort of putting people together and venturing out. The gameplay of doing maps does seem clunky at times having to wait while someone goes back to town just to get their other map out of the retainer. I get that it was intended to limit the amount a person can possess as the supply is finite, but the reality is people don't do them daily. Instead we hoard 4-6 maps and when the mood strikes we make a map group.

A possible solution could be to allow players to possess/stack up to 10 maps.

There's a limit on how many items you can hold in your mailbox. Even if you have 8 alts I think the limit is 15 or 20 total across all characters on one server.

Yup I still do it tho. I am legacy so I just make more characters lol. Anyway I am all for maps being stacked. Just makes it easier...and like Marcellus, my group also goes and does maps the same way. 10 maps to stack sounds fine, after all who wants to do more then 10 maps anyway..youll be there for hours lol

Unhiddens are stacked and not unique. I don't know why the rest of them can't be.

The limit is 20 attachments, not including mog station and veteran rewards. That limit is not shared by different characters, 8 characters on the same account can have 20 attachments each.

A limit that heavily hampers the concept of the gametype. We have two options for maps now ARR and HW, there is no reason as to why a map obtained from ARR content should lock someone out of obtaining a map from HW. The rewards aren't on a daily lockout either as you can do a map, get the loot, join a group doing maps and get more loot. It's a pointless lockout like many of the other lockouts placed on this game.

BUT CLEARLY I just need some sleep. Either way, it probably is time to make them stackable....can't think of any reason why not.

The reason behind the gathered maps being unique is to prevent the 1% buying up every map on the market & cornering content. Yes, I know there's ways to stack via the mailing system but this is time consuming & has a limit.

The newer content from 3.2+ is exactly why they did this as more stuff is relying on maps, like Unidentifiable items & Dragonskin Dungeons. If someone is able to have several hundred maps at once it would severely skew any content relying on maps. Imagine if Dragonskin Dungeons gives out something everyone needs & they access to it is primarily controlled by 3-4 people per server.... Mayhem & complaining would ensue.

I think the inventory restriction is pretty silly considering that there's a daily restriction on how many maps you can actually gather. +1 to the OP.

I suppose it's because unhiddens are limited in their nature because you can't just go out and grab one.

I understand maps are supposed to be a daily activity but at this point I don't see why we shouldn't be able to, most people I know arrange a party to go out together and that might not be possible to do every single day.
