How's this sound for bard?

As cool as the animation for wide Volley is, it saddens me that we have literally zero reason to use it. Does anyone else think it'd be better off moving to OCD? Maybe have it share a recast timer with Repelling Shot or another OCD to prevent it being too strong, the same way Bloodletter/RoD cancel each other out. Could this be feasible and work?

This is pretty much the only place I have used it so far, pretty effective though at burning them down.

I've been using WV on trash that excessively use PBAoEs and cones, which makes it unsafe for me to get close enough to ensure my AoE hits them all, like the centaurs in Anti Tower.

I don't do savage, but I'm rarely in a situation where getting close to use quick nock is too inconvenient.

yeah, moving Wide Volley to ogcd with an additional effect would be for the better

I was thinking they lower the potency of W. Volley itself, but give the additional effect of being able to spread Venomous and Windbite to nearby targets (1 min cd). Would make Wide Volley real useful again.

Wide Volley is still handy from time to time. Sure, maybe dungeons don't do anything that makes it matter, but I've used it in A2S, A6S, even Seph EX since TP is a non-issue and it's easier to hit a group of Binahs with. Bard has bigger problems right now, and if we're going to go back and do stuff to unused skills I'd rather they look at Shadowbind first (make it a Bind + Heavy?).

Honestly I just think it needs to cost slightly less tp to make it a bit more worth. No real need to make any drastic changes to the aoe kit

I only use it if there are 4 enemies or more and only after I place all my DoTs on them and don't have Rain of Death available.

Either that or make it more potency like grenade shot on machinist.

I'd honestly be fine with it staying as just a Bind so long as they stopped making every, single <omitted> enemy resistant to it.

I barely use wide volley or quick knock honestly, always too busy multidotting and spamming rain of death.
