Can we get more Guildhests?

I personally really enjoyed this genre of content, and was kind of sad that it didnt extend to 50, and that we didn't get more for the Heavensward leveling experience.

Any chance we could see this type of episodic, vignette encounter revisited in future content patches and expansions?

I think they're great fun & a good way to learn more about your class as they can be quite difficult but are short enough that you don't burn out. More Guildhests please!

Idk. Some of them are sorta fun. But quite a few are a bit of a flustercuck.

These would be the perfect chances to try mechanics out in a small setting.

Yes I miss new ones and getting sick of the old ones.

Primarily All's Well that Ends in the Well because of the absurd number of adds that spawn, and Pulling Poison Posies because of how often the boss keeps spitting out poison AoE.

Eh. Stinging Back can be bad if people aren't focusing down the healers (which I've seen happen a lot; doesn't help that everything looks the same, and all the trees inhibit vision). More than a Feeler can get out of hand, though I have seen it go off pretty smoothly a few times, which was nice. And Annoy the Void rarely seems to go well.
Though those are just my experiences.

I had a hard time getting people to do these before HW, yet PotD is out and that seems to be what people prefer... I have to assume between that and dungeons GH kinda became forgotten.

If it were up to me, they should revamp those as a means for solo instances for people who are nervous to run dungeons (like tanks and healers). Yes, you can solo PotD too, but this would be easier and at the same time you'd learn about your job and get a nice chunk of exp for completion. Think of it as an extension of the beginner's hall.

Yes! I love guildhests as a short encounter with a few buddies and a tame version of some mechanic or other that shows up in the dungeons around that level. I stomp almost all of them and it'd be nice to get some new ones for some extra variety on the roulette.

As long as everyone knows what they're doing, Annoy the Void goes fine. Burn the boss, ignore the adds, then AoE them all to hell after the boss is dead.

I can see them not doing Stormblood ones, but all the way to level 60 would be a fantastic way for people to learn what they may not have in 3.0, assuming they might be new.

Hopefully some that teach some more... interesting... tactics, as well.

I honestly wouldn't even mind for some of them to be more hectic than progression content in certain ways, until you actually get it through your head that yes, you need to react to the mechanics accordingly, or that you might actually have to *gasp* look for less obvious telegraphs or analyze certain attack patterns for later information. Stay intuitive, but layered.

Agreeing with OP -- Guildhests are really a great method to learn your job in nice bites. So yes please, Guildhests up to 60! (and then eventually even Stormblood).

I agree with this. I always though it was odd how they just abandoned hest.trial/hest sized duties would be great for people like me who dont want to spend 90 minutes killing add after add after ADDDD. Oh and the 3 bosses that take like.. 1/5 of the total time in the instance..

Agreed. While they're at it, please also give us GC battle leves up to max level. The achievement for doing 500 in each is fine if we can use it to level but since we can't resonably do that over 50 it's just annoying.

I second the idea of using them to keep giving training on mechanics that show up in trials/dungeons.

And I second having more leves (regular and guildleves) at higher levels, not just because it's a more meaningful way to do the related achievements, but also because some people enjoy occasionally doing a task that is designed for solo-play for experience.

Maybe we can make guildhests have story battles be re-playable for playing with other people for party instances, same with battlecraft guildleves for solo instances

I'm all for this idea. Personally I would love if they threw savage mechanics into here, new and old. But make it punishing. Just give us a target and an npc to do the mechanic with. They're doing more things with npcs now so definitely a good time for it. Or just make a new thing entirely. I just want something I can go into to learn these kinds of things to make myself less of a burden on any pug I go into.
