Change the matchmaking to be +/- 1 rather than +/- 2.

I've went from 1210 rating to 1040 today, purely from getting nothing but bronze teammates whilst still being matched against golds and silvers. The skill gap between bronze and gold is far too big for them to be matched together. It's not fun for the bronzes to get stomped by golds, and it's not fun for the golds to just auto lose rating because their team is simply not on their level. If the matchmaking was changed to only go up/down one rank rather than two, this wouldn't be an issue. I'd much rather have longer queues for matches that are actual matches instead of fast queues for 2 minute -25 rating stomps.

Ditto. or being matched with full silvers, while my team is bronze (with me being gold.. in the past..), there's quite the skill gap between bronze and silver.

let's hope the devs see all of these posts. I agree it's absolutely broken in its current state.

Indeed. There isn't much point in even having the ranks if the system is just going to match people together regardless of rank in favour of "convenient" queue times.

Well, they *try* to match people according to rank, but it falls apart when a high ranked person queues

I agree from both sides.

I think almost every high ranked player would rather suffer longer queue times to be matched with a more evenly skilled team.

Like Nessa pointed out, it's also not fair for bronze players to be matched with 1 gold on their team while the other team is full silver.

These are the matches I've been having all day. I've lost 200+ rating now. It's not even funny anymore. It really makes me want to just quit playing the Feast completely. This joke of a matchmaking system has sucked 100% of the fun out of the mode. 90% of your chances of actually winning a match come from not getting absolutely shit on by the stupid matchmaking, the other 10% is from the actual match.

Hey those silvers held their own lol. Collectively the team with two silvers outdps the all gold team. There's even a silver dps in there that outdps a gold by 50k lol. Granted total dmg isn't everything as burst is very important however I'm certainly not gonna be mad at dps that put up 180k dmg in a match regardless of their rank. Though yeah your point is its pretty stupid that the matchmaking algorithm didn't split the silvers in this case and i agree.

The thing is if you guys are truly good players that deserve to be higher rank, when you are the lower rank you should feel like you're evening the odds anyway.

If solo queue is so messed up then start making use of that light party. Omg did you know that you could select the other 3 members of your own team when you do Light Party?!?!? :O
