Crafting level order?

Okay so, one of my current goals is to level up my crafts after I finish up capping my last couple of DoW/DoM jobs. I know that in order to HQ effectively you want to level all of the crafts up to at least a certain point (but preferably all to 50). I want to eventually get all to at least 50 before starting going up to 60 but I don't know what order would be best for me to level them in (for cross class and materials/gear reasons)
My current DoH levels are:
GSM: 50
LTW: 50
CRP: 17
CUL: 15
ARM: 15
WVR: 11
ALC: 2
BSM: 0

Is there any recommended leveling order from here?

I would say, get alchemist to 15 for Tricks of the Trade (Restores 20 CP. Can only be used when material condition is Good or Excellent.).
Weaver at 15 too, so you can access to Careful Synthesis (increase progress without using CP).


I would say to get weaver to 50, because some recipes make use of leather and metals (and you already have ltw and gsm at 50).

To properly do HQ items, I would say Byregot's (CRP level 50) is a must and should be the first thing you go for. Steady Hand II (CUL level 37) is also amazing. Careful Synthesis II (WVR level 50) is pretty amazing as well, though this is a progress skill not a quality skill.

ALC 15, WVR 50, CUL 37, CRP 50.

These are the most important cross class for leveling. WVR is also great for making your own gear as you level, assuming you don't already have some. Byregot's Blessing is amazing, but I wouldn't consider it a requirement until 50+.

Maybe CUL 37 before WVR 50 (but get WVR 15) if you don't need to make your own gear.

Cul 37 and CRP 50. You can HQ anything then.
Getting all your crafts to 15 should be the first step though.

Muscle Memory. I forget which DoH but it's basically 1/3 of the progress bar 6CP. Useful for high difficulty crafts, useless for low difficulty ones.

Get them all to level 15. Alc x-skill is very good. You always have to have it so I'd start with there. If I were you, I'd focus on one crafting class at a time and get it like 5 or so levels then move onto the next. While doing this, I'd still do the HQ daily grand company turn in. This was the primary way I leveled my classes. It takes a little longer but it's not really stressful. I did push for carp to be 50 for that x-skill (another always have it skill -- BBlessing) and cul level 37 for that almost always have it skill (steady hand 2). Leveling cul is a pain in the butt though (up to level 52, then it's the easiest one) so be sure to have patience for that. xD

While i agree Muscle memory (lvl 54 cul) can be usefull, unfortunately i cant really use it since i've already have 10 crossclass skills I use and Piece by Piece (lvl 50 arm, basicly the same skill) does cost 15 cp but can be used 2 or 3 times instead of just the once that muscle memory can. So its more usefull then Muscle Memory.

Muscle Memory is a weird one. It is only usable at the very start of a craft, and then only functions as a 60%-Off version of Piece by Piece.

I honestly cannot come up with a scenario I would prefer to use Muscle Memory over Piece by Piece. For that matter, I cannot come up with any situations where I would want to use Muscle Memory over Maker's Mark and Flawless Synthesis. But then, I do have all 8 crafts at 60 ...


TC, WVR 15, ALC 15, BSM 15, CUL 37, CRP 50, ALC 50, WVR 50, then the rest to 50 in whatever order you see fit. Try to bring them all up more or less evenly through the Heavensward levels though; not only is the under-the-level penalty a bit more harsh than in ARR, but there is a lot more inter-dependency among classes for refined materials. You'll want to be able to produce those refined materials, as it is much cheaper than going to the board for them. Not only that, but you will be able to share crafting gear (with the MH and OH tools excepted, of course) easier if they are all the same level.

Since I play on a EU server while living in NA ive decided to use the couple of hours of "dead server" time that I'm still on to work on my crafts while I'm still focusing on other stuff while people are online

Got the rest of my crafts to 15 today. Now just need to figure out where to go from here

On mobile rn so cant edit but I was thinking of from here doing WVR, CRP, and CUL at the same time (like one 5 levels, then the next, etc.). Then ALC after those are done. And then just the rest from there WVR for gear and the 50 cc, CRP for the 50 cc, and CUL for the 37 cc. Since the latter two are really important and WVR is good for making my own crafting gear.

LTW also makes left side stuff, so you might want to consider keeping that up with your WVR.

Endgame wise, all classes make different gear and each class seems to have one specific gear choice. There are those that have more, like weaver does most of the body and legs while leather worker does most of the gloves and shoes, but SE seems to have made a point of making each class have at least one specific piece of gear they have to make themselvs. (For the break down: LTW gloves/boots/belt, WVR body/pants, GSM Earring/some helms, CRP Accessories, BSM most mh/oh, ARM 3 mh's, ALC the oil to make WVR/CRP main mats, CUL food -- within these are excep's of course like LTW makes its own body and ARMs body as well. ARM makes its own helm, etc.) But when leveling, you have a class quest every 5 levels that'll reward you with a piece of your choice, so gear really isn't an issue at that point. If you wanting a gearing issue, I'd suggest BSM since main and offhands give the most benefit, specially endgame wise. You can craft the end stuff more or less "okay" with an 170 HQ offhand.

It's best to try to level them all up at or about the same time. It makes mats easier to obtain. Your GC turn ins will always have stuff from other classes and that can be expensive. Make sure you have a ton of leves though. You get double exp for HQ turn ins with leves and GC.

Plus, I clearly showed in the OP that my LTW is already 50. If I would need any leather gear while leveling to 50 I can already make it

To me the priority list goes (assuming you have 15 on every class already, like you said :D) :
1) Byregots Blessing (50 crp)
2) Steady Hand II (37 cul) Careful Synthesis II (50 wvr)
3) Ingenuity II (50 bsm) Comfort Zone (50 alc) Innovation (50 gsm)
4) Name of Element (all classes but cul/gsm 54) Makers Mark (54 gsm) Reclaim (50 cul)

So try to mark off each tier as you go. Doesn''t matter which you do in the tier first just that you complete the previous tier.

The most important skills imo are from 37 cul, 50 alchemist, 50 carpenter, and 50/54 goldsmith. Everything else is still important, but can be made up for until you get them.

Yes, the level 60 accessories you will need when you first hit 60 are all CRP except the earrings, which are GSM.

Depends on the way you're looking at it. Head on, yes. But I see the reverse. That would make it the left side for accessories. xP Sorry.
