Request: Details on the Dragonskin Map Dungeons

Can we get some more detail into these dungeons? Its something I'm actually looking forward to after I take my break from XIV.

Will they be randomized? How deep are they? Will they're be several paths we can take to reach a treasure? Is there a timer? Stuff like that.

Dragonskin map dungeons? I entirely missed this. >< Can you provide a link or elaborate at all?

They'll give out info once the idea is further in development. Probably don't want to say something that's gonna change later and deal with people claiming that Square "lied".

I thought it'd be best to hear more about it then to just wait fr it to happen like Diadem. If we knew more we would've discussed what could go wrong for things like that such as island camping and enemy respawn times. If we know more the community can help and give feedback from what we already know. Idk, could just be me thinking this and stuff. :/

i am pretty sure you are expecting too much :x i bet it's just 2-3 rooms wich look always the same with some different monsters in it. they will spawn very rare if you do a treasure map. you can do these maps as soon as you reach lvl 60, so if a fresh lvl 60 char should be able to clear these dungeons - and we know square wants that - they are as hard as a walk in the park. sooo... the maps are locked behind an 18 hours timer and the dungeons will spawn rare, so you will see such a dungeon once a week, (more often if you team up, sure) they are small and the monsters in it will be a joke. but they will reward you with i240 gear with random stats, like diadem.

that's what i expect o.o/


the best thing is: this is the content we will get instead of a 3rd ex-dungeon...

i hope i am wrong, but i am sure i am not xD if it is how i think: this is awesome content for a mini patch like 3.35, but nothing for a big patch like 3.3...

Unfortunately, feedback from a heavily divided community takes time to sift through, talk about, and implement. I don't think the dev team would be able to afford delaying content on a promise that they're "listening to feedback".

I honestly don't know what your talking about, but it sounds like it your saying "waste of time and resources to answer player feedback". Which sounds really ridiculous. Should I compare that too PvP's Feast constant feedback that happens almost everyday as of late? This is a request topic, don't belittle the possibilities just to have something to say plz.

Don't get so hostile. What I'm saying is they probably can't afford to answer everything or simply they just don't got anything to show yet and even if they did, you'd get more of "can you show us this and that" for other content because people assume that if the devs can answer and take feedback openly for one thing when asked, then it should be true for every single thing. They may simply have no time to give more details or at least give them in a way that doesn't lead to even more questions. Once this idea of theirs is fleshed out and they got something to show, I'm sure you'll be looking forward to it.

Its probably getting worked on. However it looks pretty fun. I do hope they one day make randomized dungeons like in persona.
