Not sure, I play lala. But I think every race could use one. It's a pretty omni-useful expression imo

The female elezen's /angry is a facepalm. But I would just love to just /facepalm though.

While we're at it, can we get variant poses for /doze? And possibly have /lie do the same thing? My Miqo'te lady doesn't sleep on her stomach, propping her head on her hands, with her feet kicked up behind her. She doesn't even doze that way. Have you ever tried doing that for more than 5 minutes? You'll literally wake up with a migraine, and having lost feeling in your feet.

I find the lack of facepalm emotes in MMOs in general to be disturbing.

I don't really think we need it honestly... We have disappointed. Like you're trying to push our culture onto Eorzea, but it's Eorzea.

Like if you want your character to curse, you say "Curse the Twelve." not curse words we know irl.

I appreciate your opinion, but respectfully disagree.

As people have said, some races have this motion in some emotes already. Canonically, we see the warrior of darkness doing this (thanks to the screenshot above), so clearly this motion exists in Eorzea culturally.

And considering some races can do this already, and we see a hyurian midlander animated doing this, I don't think it would take many developer resources to add.

We need /facepalm and when facepalm is not enough can I have a /faceplant or /wallplant ? xD

Would love to have this for those facepalm moments in instances!

Yep, this would see a fair amount of use.

I feel /facepalm would be a great addition to the game. I've seen in reflected in early comics, and in silent movies. So, it has been around for a long time, at least 100 years in the West.

Since /facepalm is not in FFXIV yet I suppose my lalafell could use /disgust. That little shrug and sigh conveys much the same sentiment. :D

Female Elezen have something like this in a wholly unrelated emote. Shame we can't share the love (of unbridled apathy).

/sigh also desperately needs implementation. There can never be too much sarcasm in gaming. Thanks for mentioning it!

C'mon SE, all you have to do is make that last part of the arcanist /bpose a stand alone emote

As a scholar, I approve glasses adjust. IMO, it would be even easier than stripping out of /balance; just take the animation recycled all through the scholasticate questline and drop it as an emote reward at some point.

I think /facepalm is more pressing though
