Is it a bug? Lord of Verminions

I couldn't go through the whole tutorial thing because of this...

The cherry bombs wouldn't attack the shield... I tried it twice already, wouldn't work

does anyone know?

I've had a lot of problems with things not attacking the shield lately.

I usually send a pack of 4 Mini-Mole's to get the shield (they're fast and good at shield killing).

They usually destroy it in just a few seconds.
But I noticed I wasn't hearing the destruction of the shield when I normally do.

Tried it with a bunch of minions and nothing seemed to attack the shield.

And then... sometimes they do.

I don't do a lot of Verminion, though, so I didn't spend too much time on it.

A friend of mine said in the tutorial hers bugged out and she couldn't finish it. So...that's 2 instances of this I know of including yours now.

Make that three! I also could not finish the tutorial.

Huh. Dunno, it worked fine when I did it. o.o

I did it twice yesterday, couldn't finish the shield part not matter what i tried. So weird

The same thing has happened to me before.

Damn, how can we get it fix?

Did you try moving them in and out to attack different things? I remember having this happen and somehow brute forced it in the end.

I tried it like 20mins for twice, didn't work. Moving in and out in and out

I'm with the same problem, 2 hours trying.

Also had the same problem last week, haven't tried since then.

No, it's not a bug, Lord of Verminions actually exists. Surprising eh?

oh shoot... I've been so busy and raiding, I forgot this was out. Where do I go to play that? lol And can we play it vs an npc? or is it a pvp thing? or both?

Yes. There are 24 single player "challenges" to get through, and when you beat the last one, you get a Twintania minion :)

Both.
You can also play vs. others with it's own sorta-kinda-Duty-Finder-like thing (must remain within the minion/chocobo area of Gold Saucer, World only, not Data Centre-wide).
There are also tournaments similar to Triple Triad tournaments.

Win 50 vs.-other-ranked-real-people battles (called "RP") and you get a Deepeye minion.
Get at least 10-wins in 4 tournaments and you get a Penguin minion guy.

As for the shield problem, I played twice in the past week and I was able to attack the shield just fine.
Maybe rebooting the game client might help? I dunno...

I had the same problem, but i was able to fix it :)

Pls check if you own the minions used by the tutorial.
They can be bought at the capital cities for around 2500 gil. ( http://xivdb.com/item/6003/Kirschbomber-Pfeife )
After buying them i was able to complete the Tutorial :)
