What exactly determines the size of your weapons/ mount?

Just wondering whether height, or class determines if you get a Small, Medium, or Large weapon/ mount.

Like Lalafell of course are all gonna get small mounts and weapons, and Midlanders, Miqos and Female Auri are gonna get medium-sized stuff, while Roes and Male Auri are gonna get the Large Mounts and weapons.

But I'm still unsure about Highlanders and Elezen, since their height can vary a bit, like can a small Highlander or Elezen get get the medium sized items while the tallest get the large versions, or is it all class-based and not height related at all?

It's just dependent on your race, as far as I know.

It depends on your character height. If your character is 1,70m tall and your friends one is 1,71 meters, then his mount will be quite a bit taller than yours. It doesnt have anything to do with your race.

Im pretty sure mounts and weapons scale with the hight of your character. Im pretty short for an elezen, my mount is almost the same size as a very tall hyur (sp?)

Your race. That defines it. Not all, some mounts are the same for all races.

Typically in games it goes:
Weapons -> hand size
Mount: -> butt size

Soo...

Ah I see, that's good to know, btw, was that height (1.70m - 1.71m) an example or are those the exact measurements?
If so it would seem Highlanders are stuck on the "Large" bracket no matter what, as a Female Highlander can only go down to 68.2 inches (1.73 meters)

On a side note I've been messing around with the character creator checking different heights and seems only mounts "snap" into the 3 specific sizes, weapons seem to scale directly with the height, as in, even being only one inch taller will make your weapon slightly bigger as well.

As a femroe my mounts/weapons are long, dark, and rigid.

Which is kind of weird. My fc mate is bigger than me, yet some of my mounts are bigger than his. O_o

Oh yeah I do remember some things like Goobue and some spoilery mounts don't change size.

SIZE OF MOUNT =SQRT [(HEIGHT + WEIGHT)^2 + (RACE # + CLASS #)^2 + (DEFAULT MOUNT SIZE)^2]

Not so. I'm the tallest male Au Ra. A friend of mine is the tallest FemRoe. She's taller than me. My mounts are bigger than hers.

Mount sizes are, as far as I can tell, determined by the average height of your race and gender. (Since FemRoe height slider has a wider span than male Au Ra, it makes their average height shorter than the male Au Ra average height, ergo their mounts are slightly smaller.)

I have no idea if it's the same for weapons.
