Is this serious, you ripped a league system straight out of a MOBA put it in an MMO's PVP and just straight have no hidden MMR system behind it. Thanks a lot for my promotion to Silver I have a guy who just got his "my first time pvping achievement"
No wonder the queues are going up to 5-10mins no one wants to put up with this.

The problem is that there is a huge skill gap between regular bronze and silver. 90% of active pvp player base are sitting on bronze. Solo 4v4 should be adjusted more to spread people around ranks. No point we have 5 ranks if 90% is bronze. +25/-25 should be fine for gold rank but for bronze it should be like +25/-10 and +25/-15 for silver.
I dont know why they change points needed for next rank but in fact there is problem with win/loose ration which should be adjusted for lower ranks not the points which player need to obtain. -

The only reason I would figure there aren't more silver atm is because the ranks are gonna reset yet again next week so grinding them out right now is absolutely pointless beyond just enjoying the mode.Quote:

I've played some games with ratings to rank up. CSGO & Rainbow six siege, CSGO - Global Elite Solo queue'd R6 Platinum something.
But this game? Even if its not even comparable for the love of god i cannot get to silver.
And often its due the game design, It will not let you carry a bad person. If you have one bad player in your team, If the other team does not, You will die so quickly.
The solo queue is not based on skill, It is purely based on RNG wether you will get a group that can somewhat make a decission to attack the healer that has 20% HP left instead of the tank that has zero stacks with 85% HP left.
Or that will not run into the enemy while you're winning and the one person that runs in the last 15 seconds with 9 stacks, to instantly die and lose the match. -

My only problem really is that it's a pretty straight up +25 for a win and -25 for a loss. This makes the grind so horrendously long and to get to your "true elo." So everyone is clumped together for so long. I have a 66% winrate with 50 games played (just got to silver). If you ever had that in League you'd be at least plat or diamond after 50 games. Most challenger players have like 52% winrate but over 1000 games. 99% of the population is unranked or bronze because the grind to get out is crazy.

If its easy enough for trash players to qq and cry "I'm silver *insert expletive here*, you guys all suck" after losses (as if getting silver rank is impressive) then it means its not nearly as hard as ppl are making it out to be. When the season does actually start its supposed to last a few months. The idea is to climb over the course of a season, not get to platinum in 1 week.

Their matchmaking system is pretty terrible. Just because I'm silver, it doesn't mean I can carry 3 unranked against four bronze. Trust me, I tried. I also tried to carry a match where a NIN decided to sabotage the team by running in, getting all the medals and dying repeatedly, because [insert expletive filled version of "I don't care" here]. Did over 200k damage that match as BRD, had double digit kills, in 4v4 mind you... But lost because the NIN decided to grab my medals, because, well, ranged?Quote:

Seriously. I'm not playing this to rank, Its a nice addition. But face it, There is 0% skill involved in the solo queues. Sure you can be really good, But its still the roll of the dice if you have half decent team mates.
Just had a party that were shouting for me being in Deliverance. I killed the healer 3 times myself. Yet they failed to kill anyone in the period the healer was down(Even got the healer seperated from his team)
And suprise suprise both DPS were 20-30k below my DMG as a tank.
I'll be dropping the feast once i get my mount most likely but this ranking system, No. Don't tell me there is a scrap of skill involved.
