Tell me I'm wrong, or at least half right =/
Why can't we all just be friends? =(

I'd say the first person who decided to use the term "end game" in an MMORPG, a genre whose very existence is defined as having no true end, is the real idiot here.
I would argue that arguing is the entire point of a forum.
I mean who goes on the internet just to hear people agree with them?
I spend more time on these forums than I do in game, long commute doesn't help with that either!
A common misconception (IRL as well as online) is that an argument or disagreement means that you don't like someone or that there isn't a middle ground. Really as long as the discussion stays civil it's fine. I have had some really heated arguments with people in the past, and those people became my best friends and advisors. It's good to seek out people who challenge your opinions and make you think harder about why you care about things. That said, I often wonder why people choose to behave the way they do on this forum in particular. I suppose it doesn't help that places like Reddit claim this is the most draconian place on the internet. Guess you can win them all?
Because everyone live in a different environment. Some people grew up in poor families, some people think they are special, some people are just jealous. We are not equal in terms of what we believe and how we think. Yes, there is a strict line on what's right and what's wrong. But not every person understand it. We live in a cruel world... and that's why we need argument. Because if we don't argue or correct someone. This world.. this MMO will die quicker than anyone could imagine.
Argue with yourself for the true Savage end game experience!
I dissagree. :p
Not really trying to argue, just here for the esos.
It's the endgame of life man. We live to argue with each other. In the old days, we'd war against our neighbors because their lawn was nicer than ours... or maybe Ted across the street had a nicer car than us. Now with the internet, I can call Ted a douchebag to his face AND do that to anyone else with a nicer car than me... I mean us. With the internet connecting people all across the world, it means we're in Heaven and can argue to our hearts content.
Imo everyones wrong, my opinion is fact. All who say other wise will be arrested and charged with heritce . ( Im joking, just doing basically what everyone who argues on the web think, everyone sees a different side)
I will not rest until the developers change the game to my exact preferences which are based on rose tinted diluted memories from the games of my past that I have forgotten everything that sucked about them. All my ideas are gold and unassailable. I'm am easily super qualified to be a game designer and know and understand way more than the current devs about any subject regarding the game that they made because I played tetris when I was but a mere babe.
Once everyone understands this and I am given my rightful position as lead game designer, then the healing can begin. Until then it's war.
This is my end game... I have more fun collecting post counts...
We all know glamour is the true endgame the arguing is just the spice that as added to it to make it more fun!
Its not really the true endgame, but for most who do it, I do find it strange, since whatever issue they are arguing about probably could be fixed if they focused less on how the FELT about it and more on what they can do ingame to solve it.
Examples:
#1 "Repair NPC in instances please!"
ANS: Just repair everytime you exit an instance out of habit, or, write a sticky note for yourself somewhere.
#2 "Meld NPC please!"
ANS: Player search, /tell, be humble and polite. Or, Idyllshire shout (be polite and humble!)
#3 "Protect=/=Ready" (not WHM)
ANS: Ask if your party even want to stand around for 4 or 8 GCDs while you buff a buff that falls off in 1 attack. 95% of my groups couldn't care less. Won't speak for others though.
1v1 me bruh
It's pretty accurate to use though, even if overused, as it's a reference to that moment or period of time. Endgame in general is just the final struggle of any prior trials and tribulations that may have occurred. Like how it practically always happens, we tend to not express every little bit of detail and rely on the implications. If anyone were to talk about endgame now, it'd be referring to 3.2, and for most of the people that the statement applies to would understand it without actually adding in the "3.2" bit. Any given patch cycle does actually have an end. "The endgame..." instead of "The endgame of 3.2..."
