After i heard the name of Twin Adder i cannot take them seriously.
Everytime i hear it, it reminds me of Rowan Atkinson performance in "Blackadder" sitcom.
Was a square enix joke on it ?
Cheers,

Cheers,
I HIGHLY doubt it. As much as I enjoy Blackadder, an adder is a type of snake.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adder
Order of the Twin Adder got it's name due to the entwined snakes on their standard, one symbolizing hyur and one symbolizing elezen when they came together to found Gridania.
I've never heard of Blackadder. Then again, I live under a rock.
Ive made a broach of PURE GREEN!!!!
The sign of the twin adders is based on a Caduceus which is a common symbol Of medical practice and the rod of Asclepius (that name sound familiar? Yep, it's the T1 snakes!) so it's a much older reference.
Never heard of Blackadder, don't know the reference, unaware people were living in my rock neighborhood. Must me a hole in this sand here under my rock.
I always call my team "Bladders" when we do poor performances in Frontline.
sadly not so many people get the joke.
kids nowadays need to watch that awesome series!!
So many sad, sad people on this thread who have not got the joke period (even though Velox is correct about the real origins of the Twin Adder name, I still love all seasons of that show - given Ferne's love of pop culture though, there is still the possibility that the Twin Adders name might be indeed intentionally a reference to Blackadder - I like to think it's true regardless anyway.). :D
"It is a fact of life Baldrick that the oppressed kick downwards. I am annoyed, and so I take my anger out on the dog." (sound of dog yelping), "The dog bites the cat" (Cat shrieks), "And the cat..." (Baldrick jumps up).. "Bites you on the behind... And, alas Baldrick, you are the final link in the chain, unless there is an earwig somewhere you wish to victimize." :p
I think I'll stop now lest I start endlessly quoting it.
