DX11 and Dx9 issues constant crashing in zones now with crash dumps

i have dropped windows 15 times in 2 weeks
i have bought new hard drives, not the issue i actually starved for a week to make up for the money wasted on a new SSD to find out my original SSD was fine
to no avail it is apparently SEs END for the error im not happy with all the time i wasted rebuilding my systems just to figure this out with no answers or support

It looks like you have an 8 Core FX 9590 and GTX 980s in SLI. What kind of power supply do you have and Motherboard?

I cant read that crash dump from my phone as it requires downloading a compressed file. Can you just list the error code?

its not giving me an errorcode now....just saying windows will check for a solution then nothing.

Maybe some files related to the problematic zones got corrupted? If they got corrupted in the old hard drives they would still be causing problems after copied to the new ones. If you don't feel like re-downloading everything and you know someone who plays with a Heavensward updated client, you can copy the Final Fantasy folder (inside SquareEnix) from their "C:\Program Files (x86)\..." to your "G:\Program Files (x86)\..." and check if it solves the problem. Don't overwrite, rename your folder to .bak to be able to quickly revert if needed.

I noticed there are some programs installed according to your log: BattlePing and CAM. Any chance they can interfere? Also there is Malwarebytes, but I never heard about it causing crashes. See in Add/Remove Programs (appwiz.cpl) if some other program was installed at the same time the crashes started.

nah those programs arent interfering, cams overlay is disabled, battleping on,off,uninstalled,installed made no diference, the same issues are on my windows 10 PC aswell all i can think of its a graphics issue that popped up in one of the recent game patches

Yeah, the problem persisting with a clean install and on another OS points to hardware incompatibility of the client. And they did add the option of high-res UI elements in the last patch. See if the crashes persist after today's update. If they do, before going into housing areas, try changing to low resolutions to test if it still crashes. From the patch notes:

150% (Full HD) - 1750x984 or higher
200% (4K) - 2790x1570 or higher


Maybe something like 1600x900 won't trigger whatever bug is causing the crashes, if it's related to this new feature. Being a bug, even if you weren't using these new options, it can be worth a try.

well i normaly have it at 16:9 at 1400x900 something so that's not the issue

1 in 10 or so attempts i can enter the FC house its definitely SE's end of things

so far ive been able to get in twice in a row after closing client on max settings

A few questions then since this doesn't seem like a SE specific issue or more people would be having it. (seems more like a system issue)

Has your system always had this issue since you built it or is it something that just started happening recently?

What are the rest of your system components? Motherboard, Ram (Amount, Speed, Brand) GPU Model/Brand.

How are you connecting your GPU to your screen? DVI, miniDP, DP etc?

If this just started happening recently has there been a temperature increase where you live?

When you do your clean windows install are you installing all your system drivers from Downloads or from the Motherboard CD?

drivers from downloads,dvi,asus sabertooth r2,tempreture is going down,fresh installs,same issues on laptop which is brand new fresh install of W10 all updated only same issue i can think its NVIDIA

would be nice if i could fix this i cant access housing to send voyages or even get to diadem

Probably try a different driver.

Another player on here was having the same issue with a GTX 980ti and it looks like it was solved with the newest driver.

and this person on the GeForce Forums was having this issue with another game as well.
