A6S...Blaster makes me want to cry sometimes :'(
Well, maybe not savage bosses. lol...but ones around different ilvls starting at lvl 50 or something. or even primal rush....yikes.
A8S as well is pretty much a boss rush, even more so then normal mode.
Well, do you guys enjoy it? Is it something you'd play more of with a broader boss/ilvl combo? Maybe a roulette?
I think Boss Rush: Roulette could make an excellent level 60 addition. Could have the vast majority of bosses tuned up in health and damage to work for 60's, randomize maybe 3-5? of them and have a nice roulette reward at the end. Sounds fun, gives people kind of a nice random element spark and it's not like many mechanics themselves would have to change, just numbers.
I think it'd be fun if something like this was implemented in the Gold Saucer if/when they introduce a Battle Square.
Quick question though: overall time limit, limited lives, or anything of that sort? Or maybe just bonus rewards based on speed (and perhaps on perfect survival)?

In the old version of FFXIV we had something called "Skirmish" where there were basically several bosses rounded up on an island off La Noscea. The Grand Companies would send recruits and adventurers there for training.
I thought it was pretty fun to do from time to time. I wonder if they might bring something like that back?

A6 like arena. An Orb in the middle labeled "Nightmarish Reality Module"
Someone steps within aggro range or pulls.
WHIIRRRRLLLL. A Dimensional tear from the white room of the Chrysalis appears and sucks everyone in...
...............Black..........while everyone loads onto the hidden map........
Titan's arena appears with Titan preparing a Landslide.....Then a tank buster that deals enough that tank swaps are necessary. He's the real deal and he's synced to 60.
Everyone manages to remember the mechanics, defeats Titan and he reverts to a 0% HP Nightmarish Reality Module to fall to the ground and die.

The requirements for this duty would be to have every trial/extreme trial/dungeon/hard mode dungeon unlocked and completed and be level 60.
To me this would be a great opportunity to gear low level classes. Each time you defeat a boss you are given a token which can be used to buy any gear or MINION between 15-59 that are boss drops. Say 1-49 items cost 1 token and 50-59 cost 2.
They could do this, easy. However I think the entire thing resetting on wipe like in A6S would be a bit much.
It could simply be a "dungeon" without the trash pulls in between. Fight the first boss, progress to the second boss room.
Maybe 5 bosses. At wipe, theres a shortcut that will bring you back to the current unlocked boss.
The bosses randomized each time (and maybe have the dungeon requirement 60, and the bosses stats up-synced to 60 :o) and can include bosses from all trials, as well as bosses from any dungeon. (Steps of Faith obviously excluded xD)

If someone die, he can use Return to go back into the battle.
It will be time based. If a boss need too long to die and the time is up for the next boss while the first one is still alive, the party will have to face 2 bosses

Nah. Too much of the game is already just a boss rush imho.
