By chance are you still recruiting? My wife and I had taken a break from the game and are a little behind, we aren't necessarily looking to down Ifrit by next Tuesday but are hopeful in getting to know some people in the game. If anyone else that is recruiting happens to read this please send me a tell in game also (Won Dark).

I have to admit, it's all true. I joined Kissed not long ago, and was surprised to see so many people online at any time. People are friendly, helpful, and the atmosphere is relaxed and full of humour. There is always something to do if you want to, and the event signup-system on the website is genious.

For so many members, I always see other Ls's having to help yours and your members always shouting for events ect.

Astin summed things up so well. I love the Kisses LS and have been liking this game a great deal more since I got stumbled into, and then recruited, during the linkshell's early days.

I should add that we're still normal players. Which means we naturally have varying interests and schedules, which can occasionally lead to the scenario Rowln describes. Rowln, you needn't worry. :) The "always" you refer to is in fact a moderately reasonable portion, which is nothing out of the ordinary for a great many linkshells.

Regardless, we aren't opposed to interacting with other LSes or checking on if there are players interested in partying, so we don't mind much when it happens. In the end, Kisses LS isn't out to be exclusive or xenophobic. A social LS's primary aim is to build a network of players, and it would be difficult to do so never befriending non-members. There are up to 8 available linkshell pearl slots to begin with. Our members often carry several pearls.

Having said that, we do quite enough and our social network is pretty good. :) There's room for more people, and we're usually quite welcoming! Just not to taru-punters, since we love our tarus quite a bit!

And what makes you think other LSs "need" to help us? i can't remember how many partys from a mix of other LS we helped in our events.
Kisses is always willing to help new players or smaller LSs, unike the pros out there so full of themselves with their "exlusive circles" of pro players that kill all the fun for the newcomers to this game. I have been in LSs where everyone thought they were better than the rest and its a 90% drama 10% fun ratio.
Summing it up, never been more comfortable and surrounded by better ppl than i am now in kisses ^.^

For me an event in wich 7/8 of a pt is from our LS is "our event". Sure we have to shout sometimes, but mostly when ppl have to leave an event to attend rl stuff. In most of our events we are 15/8 signed and we usually have to form 2 pts to make an event.

By your way of thinking i can say "hey all Vicius suck cause i once saw them wipe in Ifrit". I like better to shout for fill the party than force the members to come to an event if they don't are in the mood. And in the events i created (because we all can create events, not just "officers", that's our best part) i don't remember to need to shout in months.... We usually have 20+ members online 24/7, and 0 dramas between us. I'm proud of this LS.

So you are willing to force your members to "no swearing" but not force them to events? wut?
Also i don't know where this "Vicious forces me to events" comes from.

Oh and your ignorance is showing, I and others have pted with members of your LS, hell I would consider Jr and Regina still my friends who are currently in your LS. However the last time Vicious invited a kisses/kissed (whatever the hell your ls name is officially) to something was for an ifrit run. He did less dps on thm then one of our members dead half the fight, we asked him to step up the DPS if he would be so kind and then he proceeded to try to MPK us! Keyword being tried. Thanks Tex~

Oh and Ikuni tried to help your LS do moogle fight (well a group that had majority of your LS since you bring in everyone) not too long ago but left pretty frustrated if I recall.

I've tried to help Arko as his armorer contact, and he proceeded to demand I come do his bidding at odd times so i cut that off.

Oh and Astin I'm sure you told all your LS (since they are all officers and have a say in the matter) that you've tried twice to get Vicious to merge with your LS even going as far as to kick the people we had issues with "to make room for us".

As far as your ls numbers go. Vicious has a quality over quantity route. It shows with na server first on ifrit and world first on moogle.
Our linkshells have different ways of handling themselves so I think its best to agree to disagree on how things are run. Hell I am still one of their newest member.

2. You really compare FFXIV-Rankings between a LS with 100 Member and a LS with 23 Members?

Beside the Fact that something like a "Ranking" on a Fansite doesnt mean anything, are you really surprised that Linkshells with more Members are at higher Ranks? Its simple Math, since the Rankings are based on the Points of the Players. 100 Members could easy get more Points than a LS with 23 Members..

I'll address facts presented thus far, one by one. Feel free to remind me of any overlooked. I'll add them to this list. Bold parens are my comments.

2. We party with non-members.
   (... really? Really? :confused: Why is this an issue?)
3. A member's performance against Ifrit was once lacking.
   (... only by trying can they improve - and he has)
4. A member tried to MPK an Ifrit party.
   (... MPK is strongly discouraged, and will continue to be discouraged)
5. We currently don't do well against the Moogle King.
   (... only by trying can we improve)
6. A member's odd hours made an armorsmith reconsider helping him.
   (... a matter between crafter and client)
7. LS leader offered Vicious a chance to join Kisses.
   (... obviously rejected, matter settled?)
8. LS leader kicked people.
   (... we certainly will weed out players who prove to be a source of internal friction)
9. Some members have prior bad history before they joined.
   (... history is history, as members they start anew)

That covers the facts blown seriously out of proportion. It is entirely up to thread readers whether to treat them as something overly dramatic. I resent the effort at embellishment and fomentation in a thread that originally contained no provocations toward Rowln, or Vicious. People mingle, while some get along and some end up at each others' throats. Clearly, Rowln and Kisses fall into the latter. Let's agree to disagree, Rowln.

That's fine. Unfortunately, Rowln clearly meant offense - and that is who you've supported in this thread. Let's also simply agree to disagree. What i dont understand is why those Vicious guys keep coming to this post to derange us when our LSs are both opposite in intentions and objectives.
Vicious seems quite clear to me like an elite end game content LS with the belief of quality over quantity.
Kisses is a social LS with the objective to teach new players or players unwanted in elitist LSs how to improve their gameplay and always seeks the quantity of friendly ppl over quality of more unfriendly ones (care there i dont mean that elite LS are full of unfriendly ppl).
Being said that i still dont get the point of the elite coming to a thread of a social LS to rant and/or troll here, is like i suddently were to complain about BG in one of their posts even though im from a diff server.

You misunderstand me. I posted my observation on your ls only, which I was attacked for because "I had never pted with them ever." So I went and listed my experiences with members.
Then I was called mean. Contrary, I'm a real civil guy who will help people if I can.
I have no beef with your ls, I may not agree with who you choose to invite but that is your business.
Like my first post states, good luck.

I'm gonna try and sound as impartial as I can be regarding this but I'm sure your dad would be fine with just *you* not swearing. I'm sure as a mature, grown-up individual he realizes he has no authority whatsoever to stop the rest of your linkshell from swearing because

a) he doesnt know these people
b) he's not even playing this game, I'm assuming

About the *** Rowln says, in my defense I would like to say this: true when you say "I was low on dps", but false at fake d/c. Also is not the firts time that happens to me doing ifrit, it happened doing ifrit with Kisses too.

The best part of this is,, I was there sit waiting for your (Vicius) to say you "guys sorry I get d/c", but the firts shit you guys said was " Another Kisses Fail + start lauching " so.. I just abandoned the idea to do pt with you *pros* again.

Also I have an input for you, if you don't like do party with me or you don't like the Linkshell you know what? Just let us be and don't post again beacuse, your post are just like the ppl that want to create a bad environment in a group for some reason, really I don't care a shit what you think, just to make it clear.
