Suggestion: Level 1 alternative recipes of useless 180 DoW/M crafted gear

This gear is stuck in a stupid place where it requires ridiculous amounts of red scrip items, and it wasn't even good back then. Unfortunately, some of these are pretty good for glamour purposes (Astral Silk Bottoms, Adamantite armorer crafts, etc).

Can we please get recipes for these that don't require red scrips?

It's funny because some of those pieces have literally never been put up or sold on the MB even once on my realm

So yeah, I agree a glamour equivalent of them that's much easier to craft would be nice and welcome.

If they fixed the still-ridiculously-limited availability of Red Scrip mats, it would be fine. I really hope they abandon the system entirely for HW. It's caused nothing but problems.

I really really hate those material for real, especially trading with Red Scrip. I hope in future that system is died :mad:

While I like that idea I believe they did this totally intentionally -.- we've got "cheaper" versions of SOME of that gear - aka we've got the tank-body as ilvl160 but not the legs/skirt... So thats either a massive oversight or they just didnt wanted us to have those THAT easly... and part of me is even okay with keeping some glamour-options "rare" and not have everything availeble without effort

End game crafting is purely about glamour. Crafters would be a bit annoyed to have their sole purpose eroded.

Even a lot of the music rolls are gated behind scrip books. Was that really necessary? I'm a 60 alchemist but honestly with all the war/magic and gathering I do I just haven't had time to craft scrips for crafts.

I always craft Noble Gold/Codex (Codex mostly since I hate craft mormorion) when it got Star symbol. 10 books give exact red scrip cap if you make the quality above 7100.

Instead of making the things people want level 1 why not make it easier to obtain the red script items?

You can trade the Red Ooid and so forth to crafters for them to buy the purified coke and skywater, etc... correct? Because these items have been an ongoing project for my Warrior glamour for forever and I'd very much like to know if I can trade the red script items to someone else to have them finish it. I've roughly got all the materials to a degree.

This is correct. Just remember 10/10 of the regular = 15 coke, 3/3 of the rare ones = 5 HQ coke

Does High Quality items for glamour actually...do anything? Give it a special shine or something? It's just for appearances right? O.o

they are not useless, world first clear people had them made for them, and there is no reason to complain about the materials now, they have been nerfed many times and are over 3 times easier to get and even dungeons drop the materials now.

yes the glamour item in your inventory has HQ sign on it and some people have requested me to make HQ glamours for that reason alone.

No. It does absolutely nothing. the HQ symbol doesn't even show up on the piece you glamour it over.

HQ glamour pieces are 100% pointless.

Partially correct...
To get a pack of 15 red scrip materials (such as purified coke), you need 10 of the botany favour item (Wyvern's Wart in this case), 10 of the mining favour item (Red Ooid) and one red crafting scrip token. You can get the gathering favour items and trade them to the crafter, but they must supply the crafting scrip token themselves.

I realized this and figured I'll just do it myself once I get my crafters to 60...they're between 41-50

There is plenty of reason to complain about the materials: despite the nerf, they still compete with crafters upgrading their gear.

And from the responses in this thread, it seems like your opinion on the ease of getting these items in general falls in the minority.

There's "rare" and there's non existent. As others have said most of these have never even put up for sale on MB on my server too because they're just not worth making.
