As I was just looking through the list of mounts that's obtainable in game on this website (http://ffxiv.consolegameswiki.com/wiki/Mounts), it appears that there's a mount that hasn't been released yet. Why hasn't there been much discussion on this mount? (Or maybe I haven't found the thread for it yet).
Has there been anything that hints to where this mount will drop? Is it a raid drop a la Gobwalker from A4S? I just found it odd where there's information that there's a mount available but no conceivable way of getting it at the moment.
Or could it be a bonus of something that Square's bringing out, like a bonus CD of music tracks?

Mounts and minions are often put into the game before they were given any attainment method.
This one isn't unusual. We're just waiting for it to actually become attainable. -

And they wouldn't add more commendation rewards yet until more people get the 3k reward. Last I checked, only 900 or so people had it between the entire NA, EU, and JP population, which is like 0.2% (making it the rarest mount in the game when accounting that it's been in since 2.4).

I play almost everyday (since commends were introduced), generally get 1-2 commends per content and I am only sitting in the 2Ks. Am I just bad and should be expecting 3-5+ commends per run, or am I missing something?

If it looks like this then its loosely based on FFIX Fat Chocobo with the parade being a recolor since that's the only chubby one I'm aware of having a hat. However I think the "Original" Fat Chocobo in FFIII and IV on the NES were cream or closer in color to the White Chocobo like the one from IX.

That was my first thought as well. I hope the mount has more to it, heck, even new music, but I doubt it.

I try to be friendly (even if it's just hello and goodbye) and I go out of my way to make the run easier for everyone (ie, if I'm on one of my healers, I'll run and grab chests or DoT up the webs in Toto-Rak, ect. If I'm tanking, I'll ask if anyone wants/needs full clear and go with the majority). Just treat other people well and they will generally commend your efforts. c:Quote:
