Given how /rally works on Misery with the Goblins...I thought /shuteyes might work for stuff like Petrifaction, only to get petrified.
Come on Square, put in some more hidden uses for emotes!

...This is actually a legitimately good suggestion.
Even you can cure Misery by doing /comfort. :)
Would find this interesting :o
Shutting your eyes should also lower your accuracy. XD
That's a pretty clever idea. I think it should be implemented
It'd be neat to have /rally or /psychup cure Down for the Count.
I like how it looks like you're shocked when it happens, sort of.
Like the scene in Star Wars when Han Solo was stuck in carbonite for example.
For Misery, sadness would work too.
I can get behind this. *+1's*
Kinda like that myth where /pray to the EXIT of a dungeon would increase the Zodiac item drop rate? Sounds legit.
Shutting your eyes should darken your entire screen.
I would like to see more emote use in battle situations.
This seems like it'd be a bit complicated compared to just turning your characters around...gotta remember people can barely even do that.
I think it would be nice to see some hidden uses for certain emotes beyond simple quest stuff.
Totally just reminded me of the end of 1.0 when mobs were randomly attacking the City-states & there was this rumor going around on the forums that if you /pray to the enemies that they would instantly die.
Not sure about other servers, but on Sargatanas a GM showed up in Ul'dah roleplaying with everyone. We were all fighting to defend the City & he suggested we try praying, only to have a ton more enemies spawn from doing so. Then we all ran to the Aetheryte Plaza for safety where he told everyone something along the lines of "Mayhap if praying didn't work we should all..... DANCE!" xD. So we all went out & started /dance-ing & all the enemies started dropping dead. The GM proceeded to sing "Never gonna give you up" in /shout as we all danced & shot fireworks off haha.
Ahh, memories ^_^
