Final Fantasy XIV Checklist (1.0)

Update 2: Version 2.5 is now complete!

I've been a bit too busy to work on this for a while, but I've added a few things over the last couple of weeks, just not quite enough to call it 3.0. Now added to the list:

• Armorcrafting Log
• Main Scenario Quests
• Beast Tribe Quests

... Along with some assorted tweaks.

Update: Version 2.0 is now complete!

An updated version of this checklist is now available. Along with the original items listed below, also included is:

• Gathering Logs
• Alchemy Crafting Logs
• Minions
• Mounts and Barding
• Orchestrion Rolls
• Triple Triad Cards
• Triple Triad Opponents

I also added the capability to make a list item not count toward your statistics by replacing the N or Y in the checklist column with an X. Items that cannot be obtained by any player during normal player- Mog Station items, event items, crafting recipes that require specialization, etc- are not counted by default but can be re-added to the list by replacing the X with a N or Y.

As a somewhat obsessive completionist, I looked long and hard for a good checklist for FFXIV, for things like levequests or hunting logs, just to keep track of how much stuff I've gotten done. And I was surprised to find one doesn't exist! Which, of course, meant I had to make it myself.

The Final Fantasy XIV Checklist 1.0 is here. It includes:

• Levequests (Battle, Field, Trade & Grand Company)
• Hunting Logs
• Fishing Logs
• Fish Guide
• Sightseeing Logs

It also includes relevant info, including locations, items needed for quests, uses for fish, requirements for sightseeing, etc.

To use the checklist, all you have to do is make a copy of the checklist and replace "N" with "Y" for each thing you've completed.

Let me know if this is helpful to anyone! I've just been working on it for myself, primarily, but I'd really be happy if it can be helpful to others. :D

Once you edit a post the character limit gets removed

So you can type up a lengthy post, cut the whole thing, type gibberish 10 characters long, edit, paste, profit

Wow, this is amazing. I tried creating lists of what to do myself but this is better then I could have ever made it.

I'm taking this checklist and completing it with all info up to the current build of the game. I would like to speak with Kouunno to talk about his credit. Hell I don't care if he wants me to just give him the finished product and he puts it out as his own, I'm doing this for my own OCD, so if it can help others, all the better.

Or if anyone knows how to get in touch with him, or can tell him to get in touch with me?
