Remove "Playguide"?

Remove "Playguide"?

There an option to remove this when you start the game? Very annoying to have to close it every time you log in, reminds me of a FTP MMO except I actually pay for this one.

Go to Character Configuration -> UI Settings and under the General tab. You can disable it there.

Don't know, it wasn't there before and there are tons of UI options.

Haven't seen a lynch mob like this one in quite some time. Then again it's usually not a good idea to ask people for help while bashing the game they love at the same time ♪

It could've been much worse.

But guess what, its totally fine to ask if theres an option to disable the cooldown circle, just because people are unable to ignore such small thing.

Funny how a post like this gets 9 likes despite being as little helpful as it can be. Nothing there shows which menu it's in, and it's not in the first spot most would look.

I posted this to reddit day or so after patch and it hit over 200 upvotes, shows how many people weren't able to find it and were thankful for a proper picture pointing out where it is, like this pic:

It does remind me of a FTP MMO, every time I log in I have to close things. Except I actually pay money for this game lol.

Anyways, having multiple character sucks for this, I have to do this for all of my characters.

I don't get the issue in general. The guide only pops up when you do something you've never done before, then never again for that thing. I wouldn't even call it hand-holding, it gives a basic summary of what that thing does and that's it. Hand-holding would be if it then activated a quest to give a more detailed example of how that new thing works.

The active help is different than the Play Guide prompt.
Both are useful, though.
