Name a New city For next expansion Fun thread!

Hey guys so what's your idea's for what type of city you would like to see in the next expansion and what name would you give that city?

my idea for the next city state:
WindRose City

windrose city, is a city state based hidden in the sea of clouds. Windrose has a far eastern culture to it and it is where we will unlock the next job: samurai and red mage.

Also where would you like the story to go in the next expansion?

Ala Mhigo, probably. I don't know if it is a city or the region name.

Melmondia, why not. Classic FF and I like the name.

Jobs? Samurai (tank), Red mage (DPS) and... an healer... eh ? Time mage or Geomancer? Well not, Conjurer is like geomancer (using wind, earth and water). WHo knows

Well, lore wise it's stated there are/was only six citystates in Eorzea - Ul'dah, Gridania, Limsa Lominsa, Ishgard, Ala Mhigo and the Sharalyan Colony - and of those six the only one that has not been visited/accessible now is Ala Mhigo, so it's pretty obvious Ala Mhigo will be the one featured in the next expansion, a good thing too as I want to visit the city that I've chosen as my character's birthplace. :)

Also Sorahu I'm pretty sure it was already mentioned Samurai at least comes from the now fallen nation of Doma on the Othard continent (where Yugiri and her people come from) - there was mention earlier in the story that Doman traditionally had 'masterless warriors' like adventurers who practice a form of swordsmanship, which sounds very much like Samurai. But, this is meant to just be a fun thread, sooo.... outside the borders of Eorzea who knows what we'll find. ;)

Well since its actually possible to travel to different FF universes, I dream of going to the new world that Lightning created at the end of " Lightning returns". I will find her!!!!!!!

I want to go to Garlemald.

I can't think of a name right now, but I would love to see a major hub city that is Jeuno-like sans FFXI.

Some kind of giant trade city/hub.

Ishgard has essentially become what Jeuno was in FFXI. It even has a very similar architectural design (combined with a bit of Sandy).

I think we all know that Ala Mhigo is likely to be the major city of the next expansion. Do we know the names of any Garlean cities yet? Garlemald is only the name of their nation after all, and we'll likely be paying them a visit soon enough.

Meracydia. They've stated it's nothing but a wasteland but look at Azys Lla. Lol that place is a junkyard.

we have everything covered so far Uldah (desert) Gridania (forest) Limsa (sea) , Ishgard (snow) ......we need a FLOATING CITY (nym or similar!)....or underground....or undersea :o

This most likely will never happen since it's in ruins (maybe even caved in :S), but I'd like to see the Duskwight underground city. Gelmarro was it called or something like that?

I'd also like to see that rainy place where seawolves originated from and the volcano where hellsguards dwelve. Or find more miqo'te tribes in the wild.

Sorry, I'm at work and can't really check any of the proper names or if they were continents or cities or what. But I really REALLY want to explore more of the current races' origins.

Ala Mhigo is all but given as the site of the next expansion. As mentioned above, it's the only city-state in Eorzea we haven't visited. I don't know if others have picked up on it yet, but Yda and Papalymo are most likely fighting with the resistance in Ala Mhigo after the events of 2.5. Watch the CS again if you haven't noticed. All the NPCs aside from those two are Highland Hyurs. The snippets of conversation we're fed makes it pretty obvious they are involved in some guerrilla warfare.

I'm gonna have to agree and say next expansion is going to focus on freeing Ala Mhigo from the Garlean empire. Especially since 2 of the scions are in the middle of the fighting

Well if we're ignoring the obvious hints and teases of Ala Mhigo being where we're going next, I'd want to go to Thavnair the most.

... which means not all of it; if the item info is anything to go by, it'll be a hot place, tropical in some areas and with some jungle environments and maybe Thavnair is located here, too, as it's said to be south also and there was some hint at that in something, so there's that, too perhaps.

Edit: Can't for the life of me remember where I got that "Thavnair is south and might be near/on Meracydia" thing from, but it's blatantly wrong as I did a double-check on a few Thavnairian items, as it seemed really off, what with the whole "Near Eastern" thing... and yup, wrong.

Just curious, but what the Hell happens to West Shroud? Don't know why we don't have that yet.

West Shroud was the area Bahamut blasted to hell. It is also where seal rock pvp takes place.
